Welcome to The Fry Flats, an entire historic Victorian home in downtown Kalamazoo. Floors 1 and 2 have a kitchen, bathroom, dining room, living room and the entire home has a total of 5 bedrooms. The 3rd floor (exclusive to entire home rental) is a game room with 2 arcade games, golf putting green and game table. Stay with your large group as we are the largest listing available in the heart of downtown. Perfect for families, wedding parties, family reunions or large work retreats! (No house parties allowed)

We enjoyed downtown Kalamazoo and this stay placed us right dow. The house is spacious. We had plenty of space for 9 adults with our own beds. The two kitchens were helpful, especially with people wanting to make their own food. It’s a beautiful historic building which is updated, especially the downstairs bathroom. A vrbo client, would understandably, be knowledgeable that an historic building is not a perfect brand new building; it’s clean and works well, yet not perfect (e.g. loose doorknobs) We really liked the proximity to coffee shops and stores in downtown. Of the nine people in our group we were all satisfied. The host was extremely prompt with responses and fully accommodating. Collectively, we would “rent” this property again. Maybe next year.

Property was well taken care of and in a decent neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again. Only downside was at night there were numerous sirens in in the area that disrupted our sleep.

Beautiful place

We were down for a fun tournament(CanAms) for the weekend. The house is gorgeous but due to weather conditions we were left without power and weren’t able to utilize all the amenities within the house. The host was amazing and very helpful with everything during the power outage. Centrally located and is within 7-15 mins from restaurants, shopping and parks.

This is a nice property for a large family/friend gathering. We found the property clean and well maintained. Because the property has no useable washer and dryer, we had to contact the host for additional towels. The host did respond in a timely manner. We did have to go to a laundromat because some of the towels were new and hadn’t been washed.
