We loved staying Conduit. The location is incredible. The lake is gorgeous. We canoed and swam. There are hiking trails across the street. It was 20 minutes to gorgeous beaches. We had 14 of us very comfortably in the house. Stephanie was a great host. We would definitely come back.

Disliked: Cleanliness
While the location and access to the lake were as listed, for the price being charged the place was dingy, worn, and poorly maintained. In particular, we were disappointed that the indoor and outdoor furniture was incomplete and not comfortable or charming, and some of the windows were not functional allowing bugs into the house.When we arrived, the house was a mess and full of smelly garbage due to a party by the previous renters. While the housekeeper arrived and cleaned within a couple hours, it made for a bad start to our family vacation. This incident reflected a lacks attention to detail and care in preparing the home for guests. Most seriously, we had to leave abruptly a couple of days early due to a broken sump pump that flooded the living area downstairs and the owner refused to compensate us for the missed nights. Overall, this property was a disappointment to our family and very a poor value compared to the many other places we have stayed at a similar rate.

Perfect Home For a Cape Cod Getaway

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at the beautiful property. There were 12 of us and we were extremely comfortable, with plenty of space to gather and sleep. The property sits on a quiet pond, that was perfect for swimming and canoeing. We had our own little piece of paradise. There are canoes for use, several decks for lounging and was within a short distance to various shops and a grocery store just a few minutes away. The host was in constant contact with us, making sure we were happy and offered several times to assist us with whatever we needed. The view when you walk into the house was breathtaking. The location made us feel like we had our own little lake house, but was also within close proximity to everything we needed. This will be our house to stay in every Summer.
