An absolutely fantastic vacation home and a beautiful main setting. Has everything you could possibly ask for and provide springboard for a beautiful vacation!
We loved the beach access, kayaks and early morning hangouts on the deck. The place was very clean and quiet. The spiral staircase would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues or small children.
This was a very relaxing stay on Thompson Lake. Brad was super helpful the entire time and answered any questions I may have had in a timely manner. The property was very clean and a small walk away from a public beach. All-in-all a very satisfying vacation and would highly recommend it if you're looking for a quiet getaway on the lake.
My family and I spent our 4 th of July weekend here. It was the perfect amount of room for all if us. The house was super clean when we got there which isn' t always the case. Check in was easy. We had a great time!
What a beautiful getaway! The house was even prettier in person. Upon arrival, everything was cleanly and as expected. There were a lot of amenities provided for you as well. Extra trash bags, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, dish-ware, and even the fridge was stocked up with condiments. The lake nearby was one of the best features though. My friends and I had a blast kayaking! Brad was also great with his communication when we had any questions at all. If you’re looking for a serene place with friends or family I couldn’t recommend this more!
This is a great place! We enjoyed walking down to the sandy beach. Our girls loved it, especially since we were there during a very hot period. The house does have AC, so that was a blessing! The house was very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked. It actually came stocked with some basic cooking needs such as spices, oil, butter, etc. We did have some needs while we where there, and Brad was promptly on those needs. One example is that we could only find child life vests for kayaking. We explained to him that we wanted to go out on the water with our girls and set a good example with the life vests. He promptly went out and purchased two adult life vests. Brad is still relatively new to the VRBO world with this property. That explains the low number of reviews. Trust me, this is a great place! Since it is tucked in on Thompson Lake, it takes 20-30 minutes to get just about everywhere, including the grocery store. That is typical for this area.
We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful lakehouse. The kitchen was well stocked and the house had all the essentials, including laundry pods and other miscellaneous necessities. The wooded setting was nice as well The beach was easily accessed and we really enjoyed the canoe and kayaks. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend time on Lake Thompson.
