Enjoy the relaxing ambiance of our large but cozy private waterfront home on beautiful Lake Champlain. The home was originally constructed in 1840 by the family for whom our bay is named. To respect its history, the hand-hewn plank floors have been preserved, giving it a lovely, warm feeling. Relax at the lakeside fire pit and patio while listening to gentle waves against the shore. Listen to loons call out on summer nights. Play in the water that’s perfect for playing with children. Grab a kayak (2) or the paddleboard and set off from the dock to enjoy the peace and beauty of being on the water. Come see the striking foliage of autumn or the gentle burst of springtime in the North Country.
There are 3 King bedrooms, a trundle bed (2 twins) and 1 bedroom with 2 twins. One King bedroom with walk in shower is on the first first floor. There is also a 1/2 bath on the first floor and 2 full baths on the second floor.
Our boat is not rentable. For your own boat, use the dock at your own risk since occasional wave action and submerged rocks could cause damage. Feel free to park your boat and trailer on the front lawn, thereby saving the driveway for passenger vehicles. Boats can be launched at nearby Pointe au Roche state park.
