About this property

The Rodney House - Midcentury, Modern Sleeps 8

The Rodney House — Midcentury Modern Luxury in the Heart of Reno

Welcome to The Rodney House, a beautifully curated midcentury modern retreat designed for those seeking space, style, and true relaxation. Nestled in one of Reno’s most established and desirable neighborhoods, this expansive 3,000-square-foot home offers the perfect blend of architectural character and contemporary comfort.

With four spacious bedrooms and four full bathrooms, this home is ideal for families, executive travelers, or groups looking for an elevated stay experience. Clean lines, modern furnishings, and thoughtfully designed interiors create a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere throughout.

The Space

At the heart of the home is a well-appointed kitchen designed for gathering, whether you’re preparing a quiet breakfast or hosting an intimate dinner. The open layout and modern décor make every space feel inviting and refined.

The primary suite is a true sanctuary, featuring a wood-burning fireplace and a spa-inspired en-suite bathroom. It’s the perfect place to unwind, soak, and fully disconnect from the outside world.

Every room has been carefully styled to reflect the home’s midcentury roots while offering the comfort today’s travelers expect.

Guest Access

Guests have full access to the entire home and property, with the exception of one downstairs supply closet reserved for housekeeping use.

Important House Guidelines

To preserve the quality of the home and respect the surrounding neighborhood, please note:

• No parties or events allowed
• No pets permitted
• No smoking or vaping on the property
• No street parking — parking is limited to two garage spaces and two driveway spaces
• No loud vehicles or motorcycles allowed

For neighborhood consideration, noise monitors are installed on both levels of the home. There are no recording devices, they simply monitor sound levels. Guests are asked to be mindful of neighbors and avoid loud music or excessive noise.

Washoe County quiet hours are strictly observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

The Rodney House is more than a place to stay, it’s a refined retreat where modern design, comfort, and tranquility come together for an exceptional Reno experience.

This house was great!

We enjoyed the house! The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The garage was a great place to keep our golf clubs.

Well appointed property. Great for family gathering, especially the giant downstairs area. There's an opportunity for improvement with respect to lighting. The recessed lights are perfect when you need lots of light, but too much when you don't. Adding a few free-standing lights to the main rooms and bedside in master would be an improvement. The motion sensor lights in front yard need to stay on longer. Also, I couldn't figure out how to use the gas oven. Provide instructions there.
