Our townhouse is surrounded by wooded areas and backs to a small pond so it is very private and peaceful. We are 2 miles from the beach and downtown Bethany boardwalk with plenty of restaurants, shopping, boardwalk and attractions.

The home is located in the Salt Pond Community, a family friendly resort and golf community located on a 90-acre saltwater pond and surrounded by an 18 hole public golf course. Walkable amenities include an outdoor pool, tennis and pickleball courts, a sand volleyball court, a basketball court, and a clubhouse with a heated indoor pool and spa (open September-June only) and fitness equipment. Golf course fees are affordable and charged separately.

The garage is available to store beach equipment and bikes and Kayaks. You can bring your own or rent a kayak to use in the canals or on the Salt Pond. There are ample opportunities to bike around Salt Pond, to the beach or at Cape Henlopen State Park, along the Assawoman Canal, and on other trails.

The first-floor offers a well-appointed kitchen, dining area with a dining table to seat 8 and a living room that looks out to the screened porch and deck area that overlooks the pond. There is also a powder room and washer and dryer.

Upstairs we have one main ensuite bedroom and 2 additional bedrooms share a full bathroom. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and spacious closets.
