A beautiful property in a prime location. Excellent place to kick back and relax. The weather was perfect and the beach was beautiful. Looking forward to going back next year. Our host, Tony, was there to meet us when we arrived and provided us with everything we needed to know about the property.

Great views and fun activity property. Despite excellent location and host communications, the property is quite tired….needs updating and maintenance.Lots to do at this house (games, pickle ball, pool table, etc.). Good for large groups with kids). Cautions would be a) lots of stairs, b) sewer gas smells in the two king bedrooms on west side of building, and c) general condition shows wear and age.

Our group had an amazing stay. The home, the views, and the location completely exceeded our expectations. The golf cart was a very nice touch for making grocery runs. We would definitely stay again!

This property is amazing. You couldn’t ask for a better view, we woke up each morning watching the surfers and the sun set each evening. There were 15 of us with five teenagers from 14 to 19 so we used all the amenities, the Pickleball court, hot tub, swimming pool, golf cart and my 26-year-old grandson played the piano for us every evening. Our property manager, Tim made sure the pool was heated before we arrived. Both Tony and Tim promptly responded to any questions I had. I would not hesitate to book this property.

Great views, a little dated but clean; needs more regular towels for a three day stay; tile work around pool needs repairs entrance to pool should either be completely blocked off or the drapes rearranged; found a cockroach in the tv room;

The host was very helpful. This house was perfect for our family gathering with our grandchildren. Everyone was able to spread out and the children had a wonderful time. The location is fantastic and the fact that it’s a little rougher around the edges in some ways was perfect for having kids. Plus, there are some exquisite little details if you pay attention.

The view was amazing and the house is opulent but the property has a lot of deferred maintenance. Rusty support beams for the house, broken and or crumbling tiles on the outdoor pool, cracked beams supporting the porch, calcified shower heads, etc., etc. I told the property manager but never heard back from the owner. This is an example of a multi million dollar property and a house that doesn't do it justice.

Charles, I’m pleased with your acknowledgment of that our great property manager (who is there for all guests during their stay for anything they may need and) was responsive to your comments. And as well, for your kind compliment about the opulence of our $30 M oceanfront estate. The house is adorned with so much beautiful furniture and artwork which includes a 9' concert grand Steinway piano for guest enjoyment. The house also boasts its spectacular coastline, beach and colorful sunset views. For this reason, so many travelers provide mostly all, 5-star reviews after their visit. They are true and experienced guests. When I think of a 3-star review, I often think of a Motel-6 property and not of a $30 M oceanfront estate. I do appreciate constructive comments and if valid, they will be remedied. The house is impressive and offers wonderful privacy and lots of space for families and friends. We agree with you that the house is definitely opulent. We always are improving the house regularly and in fact, I honestly feel that the 4- & 5-star reviews are authentic, but a 3-star review is unwarranted. However, we are fully accepting of all opinions and have no budget when it comes to making our guest experiences, the very best! Kind regards and please come back to enjoy beautiful La Jolla for your next special adventure!

The location and the views are as stunning as advertised. Rare to find both. We spent a week here for an annual family reunion and had a blast. No trip is perfect, but I give a lot of credit to Tony, the owner, for bending over backwards to make sure we were happy. Would definitely come back.
