Very good

Great location for 2 people for 3 nt. stay. We were disappointed with the floor area which needed sweeping as we picked up dirt on our feet when removing our shoes upon arrival. Counter top was dirty along with toaster oven which was unusable as it had burnt food & grease inside. It would have been nice to not have a completely empty dishwasher tab box... a couple of tabs would have been good for a few days stay along with a fresh roll of paper towels, and not just one sheet.
Bed was very comfortable and bathroom facilities adequate.

As we discussed with you on both occasions, and we still do not agree on your behaviour towards the staff, we did not agree on your cancelation request as it was only two days before your arrival. It does not give you the right to such an incorrect and shameful review. The floors were clean until you decided to walk in with your shoes, despite the sign on the door clearly stating not to, the pizza oven was and is cleaned thoroughly after every check-out and the dishwasher tabs as well as toilet paper, paper towels and sponges are in the kitchen cupboards. You found them after we pointed it out after our first conversation. We understand that all travelers are different, but some should not be allowed to use booking platforms.
Great location, premises dated and smaller than pictures.
We enjoyed our stay on Bowen Island. The location was perfect close to the ferry terminal. But the premises are dated. The floors uneven, the temperature at check in time only 15 degrees. Rooms smaller than on the pictures and dark. Bedroom curtain not wide enough to cover window for privacy. Plenty of towels and luckily the fire place worked because there is no heat in bedroom and bathroom. Could not figure out how to turn on the hot plate though we both tried.

What we liked was that it was a convenient walk from Snug Cove. Found it to be too expensive for what it was. the ensuite door arrangement was difficult. With no table it would have been difficult to cook anything. The kitchenette was dark and the only light on the microwave was burnt out. We ate all meals out which added to the expense. no opening window in the bedroom

Was super fortunate to find this accommodation so close to everything. The Host is very kind, patient and accommodating. Given the lower level suite is pet friendly, which is an additional bonus, I do understand the lack of a clean floor, however, the state of the kitchen counter (left over food bits) was a bit of a shock, as were the dangling cobwebs inside the cupboards. There is a small toaster oven in the basement suite only. Don’t bring a casserole for dinner. Lesson learned. The bathroom was beautiful… looked very brand new and shiny.Had a 24 hour power outage … we were one of 128 houses affected. Fortunately our host provided a small battery operated light while the gas fireplace kept us warm.Although I sincerely appreciate the kindness of the Host, and the superb location, I would not return to this property.

Dear Kory, we understand that you are upset with the power outage as half the island was because of a drunk driver hitting a pol. As it was not in our hands we could not agree on a refund and you should accept that as you were still able to use everything provided including heat and water. The suite was professionally cleaned and you even complimented us on arrival. On the other hand I would have loved to be able to attach two photos in which disrespectful way you left the suite. You disregarded the house rules by letting your dog who was dirty in the bed and on the couch and the whole suite was full of sand. Not only your untruthful review is upsetting and disrespectful, more so the way you treated someone elses property. We will not even bring up here of what you wrote us before your actual arrival. In conclusion, extremly upsetting and disappointing.
