Very nice and relaxing place. would have loved to use the fireplace but understand if that is too much of a liability. We had such an amazing time and the house manager was very good.
We could not have been happier with this stay. Less than 15 mins outside of Dingle but felt like you were on the edge of the world. Beautiful backyard view. We traveled with 4 adults and 2 kids (4 and 2 years old) and had more than enough room to spread out. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we could need. Our host was incredibly responsive and kind. We would LOVE to come back someday soon. Thank you John!
The host is most wonderful. The home is large, spacious and warm. It provides a perfect location to view spectacular sunrises and sunsets across the bay and above the mountains. Located in beutiful Irish farm lands with quick access to all Dingle has to offer.
This was an absolutely gorgeous home to stay in during our group's time on the Dingle Peninsula, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a VRBO on the West Coast! It was about 15 minutes away from Dingle town; had the most beautiful views out of the dreamy windows; was stocked with anything you could need (we loved playing pool and poker by the fire in the evenings); and communication with the host and house manager was easy and clear (we also loved the compiled list of recommendations for our time in Ireland). Although we booked this property as two couples, this would be a great home for a large family trip, as there is lots of space and rooms. You'll find easy parking, laundry (wash), a fireplace, pool table, a collection of movies and a smart TV, and a clean home when you arrive. We also were treated to a basket of goodies when we arrived, which was such a treat! We would highly recommend this home to anyone, and would certainly book again. Thank you!
Excellent communication, easy to find with the directions, and as advertised! We loved having a home base near Dingle to come back to after exploring the area attractions.
The house was beautiful and the view incredible!! The rooms were spotless. Great communication with the owner. Kitchen was well appointed. Would definitely return!!
Incredible setting, property and home surrounded by spectacular views and great hiking right outside the front door. Very comfortable, secluded and peaceful. Hope to return some day!
An amazing peaceful location with easy access to tons of things to do. The property owner and manager were wonderful to communicate with and made sure our stay went smoothly.
Amazing location, views are incredible, house was perfect.
will not be able to stay anywhere else ! Trails out side front door were amazing to explore !
John and Nona were very helpful and great hosts
The house and property were breathtakingly beautiful. The property manager was a great help and the house had everything we needed for a great experience for our vacation in Ireland.. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a wonderful place on the Dingle Peninsula
This house was great! We rented a van when we landed in Cork, and you will definitely want your own transportation. The drive to Dingle was only about 10–15 minutes, making this a very convenient location for exploring the peninsula. The roads in this area are narrow, but traffic is light, and we had no problems using Google Maps and Waze. There was plenty of parking at the house. The neighborhood has other homes nearby, so it felt peaceful but not isolated. The house was very clean when we arrived, and the checkout instructions were simple. Beds were comfortable, showers had good water pressure, and we had no trouble keeping the house warm during our March visit. The washer and dryer were especially helpful. The home was spacious for our group of five, with plenty of beds and bathrooms. The kitchen was well-equipped—we cooked several dinners using groceries from Garvey’s SuperValu in Dingle and had everything we needed. There was also a regular coffee maker in addition to the French press. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets, great views of sheep, mountains, and the Atlantic, and peaceful mornings at the backyard picnic table. Wi-Fi and cell service worked well. This is a great property for families or groups who want a quiet place to stay while exploring the Dingle Peninsula. We would definitely stay here again.
It is a lovely property- rain or shine. Having our family with 5 en-suite bedrooms made everything so convenient. We enjoyed the pool table, the large kitchen and played games in the living room. There are great walks from the house without getting into the car. The village of Dingle is 15 minute drive with great restaurants and pubs. There are beautiful views from every room.
The home is situated with an amazing easterly view of a small bay and iconic Irish walled farm fields. Located on a short lane below a rolling mountain. Close enough to town for whatever is needed yet still provides quiet country living…..well appointed, clean and comfortable. We would go back again.

Hughly recommend this house. We stayed here as a large extended family group. The house was very well equiped, with plenty of space. Beautiful views and very close to a beach.
House was perfect for our group. Plenty of room, each bedroom has its own bath, kitchen was well-stocked.
Can’t think of anything that would make an improvement.
Beautiful location…loved the close by cliff walking trail
We loved the location…walking trail was spectacular…with miles of coastline, we had no other encounters of people, but met some very nice sheep…it was like a personal walking trail of spectacular views…House was nice with plenty of space for large groups…really enjoyed our stay…only comment, rent a GPS, we did not have one and had difficulty finding it, but after that was pretty much perfect…thank you
What a lovely home in a beautiful setting! We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is spacious and cozy. We cooked every night and appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. The fireplace kept us warm on a blustery November night. Plenty of room for our family of five. We loved it!
6 family members stayed at this lovely well-equipped house on the Dingle peninsula. The house is situated on a picturesque cove and is about 9 KM north of Dingle town. The home was as advertised and the owner prepared an excellent document (best I've seen) of things to do and places to see while in this extremely beuatiful part of the world. No complaints and we plan to return.

About the host
Hosted by John Moran
I took my first trip to Ireland in 1985 and raced around the West coast from Donegal to Cork and stumbled upon Dingle. Had it been my first stop, I wouldn't have gone any further. Having stayed in B&B's and Inns in the various villages and in town over the years, we bought a site on rocks above Smerwick Harbor and within a half mile of one of our favorite country pubs. Notwithstanding our end-of-the-earth setting, 10 minute access to Dingle affords the best music and cuisine you can find in Ireland.
Why they chose this property
There are numerous pubs that dot the peninsula outside of Dingle. We found ourselves in a pleasant rotation, yet always apprehensive about missing a football match or a session that might surpass the perfection of the moment. We stumbled upon a lot in the center of it all with views of ocean swells exploding off rocks, within ten minutes of town and concluded that "we have to do this," and thats what we did.
What makes this property unique
The home is L shaped with two wings on two floors that affords privacy even with several couples/families. The living room faces the sea in the back and the mountains in the front. The tides, clouds and light make for an ever changing view. In the living room there is a traditional fireplace where you can burn turf coal or turf briquettes. Its the perfect combination of traditional Irish with modern amenities.
