Steve was a very helpful and friendly host! The cabin was just as described, and it had everything we needed. The wi-fi was amazing, which is no small feat in the Glacier area! It's a bit remote, but we enjoyed it that way!
Cozy cabin, clean and well furnished. Close to Many Glacier and St Mary entrance of GNP. Owner is very helpful and hospitable. Cabin has everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing stay in beautiful Montana country.
My wife and I stayed here for three nights of our Honeymoon. The cabin was very nice and the beds were comfortable. It was a very peaceful neighborhood with great views of the sunset. Steve was a great host; he checked in on us a couple of times and offered us his canoe. He also left a very helpful trail map and bear spray in the cabin. The cabin was a little difficult to find, but definitely worth the trip!
The cabin is small but adequate and is supplied with everything you could need including several books on the park, bear spray and binoculars you can borrow. It's located in a remote area on rough dirt roads with free roaming cattle so you have to drive carefully. It's about a half hour drive into the St. Mary's entrance of the park.

Pamela, thanks for letting us know about your stay. If there is anything we can do to provide a 5-star experience, please don't hesitate to reach out!
This home was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed plus more (they even had bear spray and glacier books/maps)!
It’s about 20-25 minutes from the Many Glacier entrance. The property owner has a cabin across the street which he stays at sometimes. He was super helpful with knowledge about the Glacier hiking trails.
The closest grocery store was in the St. Mary area, about 20 minutes away.

Stay in Hummingbird cabin
Stayed four nights in the Hummingbird cabin. Not difficult to find if you follow the direction given by the host. The cabin is perfect for a family of 4. It is a 15 min drive to St Mary and Many Glacier entrances. The property is quiet and private. The cabin includes a well-equipped kitchen with seasonings and cooking supplies. Beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows and extra blankets and towels. Gas BBQ is available at the back with picnic table, fire pit…Steve, our host was really helpful too and made valuable recommendation for the hikes. Loaner bear spray to use around the cabin or when hiking.
Our stay at cozy duck (Hummingbird) was amazing. The cabin is cozy, but functional, comfortable, and incredibly peaceful. For our family of 3, it was perfect. For larger families, you'll be thankful there's so much outdoor space. Steve, our host, stopped by for a couple of days (his cabin is across the road), and we couldn't have asked for a nicer person. He was friendly, kind, and our son really took a liking to him. He actually got our son "bear poop", which our son initially got disappointed wasn't actually bear poop (it was chocolate-covered peanuts), lol. Steve also took our son on a tour of the property, which included an outlook up in a tree.
If we had any gripes, it was that the photos are of both cabins (Badger and Hummingbird), so we were initially confused when we didn't get what we thought we were getting. Also, the WiFi is shared from Steve's cabin which is really only reliably usable from the road. However, Steve was more than accommodating, and let us hang out in his front yard so we could download movies for the flight home. However, this ended up being a blessing because it allowed us to disconnect and be a family.
Overall, it was an amazing stay and we'd love to come back.
Had a great time and the Hummingbird was a great place to come back to after our long days out hiking Glacier and Waterton. Place was clean and well equipped with everything we needed.
The place was great as well as the location. Steve, the owner, was able to give us good advice as well in what to do on the Many Glacier side of the park. I would recommend this cabin to anybody headed to the area.
The property was beautiful & Steve was a wonderful host. Made sure we had fun places to hike and arrived safely. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our stay!

Great Cabin
This cabin was so cozy. It fit our needs perfectly and had everything we needed. The location was an easy 15 minute drive from the St. Mary entrance to Glacier NP. The area was gorgeous. Our host (Steve) came over when we got there to give us some hiking tips/suggestions. I would recommend this place. The only watch out is that I have AT&T and could not get a signal. My husband had Verizon and had no issues.
We only got to stay here 2 nights on this trip, but we're still glad to be fortunate enough to return. We were able to make great use of the kitchen and laundry amenities. The location is ideal for those hiking the east side of the park and the Many Glacier area.
We loved staying at Hummingbird for our time at Glacier. We were away from everything but close to where we wanted to be at the same time’ The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Steve checked in to make sure all was good and to let us know to reach out if we needed anything. So glad we chose the cabin for our visit and hope to return soon!

Best place to stay near Babb
A perfect hideaway with super comfortable beds and a great view. You can listen to the sandhill cranes at night
My husband and I had a really lovely stay at Steve’s property. First of all, Steve is such an attentive host! He brought us coffee and goodies as a welcome gift, and was very responsive any time we had a question. The property itself is very cute, in a fairly remote place (as others have said, it is NOT where it is located on VRBO and it is beyond a ‘private property’ sign so you need to know where you’re going). For two people it was perfect! The bed was comfortable, and we found the amenities perfectly suited to our needs. Heads up, there is no wifi or cellular data (Steve kindly shares his password but you have to basically go on his property to get any signal and the whole area is a dead zone for cellular data so we couldn’t even make a phone call). It didn’t affect our trip but stating in case it matters to others. We would absolutely return to Steve’s property, we really enjoyed it!
