Welcome to the funnest vacation cabin in Boone!

Elevation 3800 ʹ just outside Boone city limits~Safe, eclectic mountainside (meaning "steep") neighborhood~

5 minutes (or less) to downtown's King Street~2 miles to App State campus, Kidd Brewer Stadium & Holmes Center~

Pristine/ funky/fun modular bungalow~Beds so comfortable you will actually sleep on them~

Sleek kitchen & laundry~Keurig brewing system~

4WD/AWD vehicle and balls to drive on snow and ice recommended recommended~

What a great property!!

Very clean, the owners were very quick on returning questions we had. Everything inside the house worked perfectly. Saw deer and a lot of chipmunks, got to meet the neighbors beagle. If you are going to Boone and want a nice quiet place to stay this is it.

A great getaway

We enjoyed our stay in Boone. This cabin is quiet and had everything we needed. Great location, close to downtown but out of the way. Internet was quite fast. Only negative is that the thermostat is kept (literally) under lock and key; it was cold our first night, and the only way to make it warmer is to email the property owner and hope they remotely increase it for us. Not sure why they'd so that, knocking off a star.

We stayed here while visiting our son at App; this was a perfect distance from his dorm AND skiing which we did yesterday. Super comfortable, clean, and cozy place-- really fun to look through all of the pictures on the walls.

A comfortable cozy mountain side home! The kithchen is perfect for cooking meals very well equipped,Beds & Pillows are AMAZING, Living room is perfect for lounging around w/ plenty of Tv channels, Pretty view from the back ( we seen Deer every day) location is great for all the different things to do in Boone or all the other different hot spots. Owner was very nice an always quckliy responed to any question I had.

Our family has been in Boone for 6 generations. We're kin to ol' Dan'l himself. You know, the guy that opened that family-style "Inn" downtown. Back then he served venison, hoecake, and Wild Turkey (that sounds like a winner!). Things sure have changed with the fried chicken and biscuits and all. But Boone is still our home. Until they run us out.

Why they chose this property

Why not? For 30 years, DA-JA View II was only available to family and friends. Then somebody (can't remember if it was Granny or one of the Cuz twins) said "Why don't we let some flatlanders enjoy this place?" We all shook our heads and here it is! It is not suitable for children or handicapped and we can't allow smoking, pets, or parties. But you'll enjoy staying here. Granny would be proud...

What makes this property unique

Close to town but away from the crowds and traffic. Just a FUN place. We get lots of comments about the decor. You'll get a special kick out of it if you had Boone vacations as a child or attended ASU (or ASTC!). If you are a parent or grandparent of an App student, you will appreciate the short trip to campus. If you want snow sports, you can have the amenities of town apres ski. You can hike, bike, kayak, tube and still sleep in a great bed at night. There a plenty of vacation rentals in and around Boone. But there is only ONE DA-JA View II....
