Sea Song Cottage at Explore Acadia Cottages

Sea Song Cottage is newly renovated for 2025 with a marine theme in each room. It has a large spacious kitchen with island bar, brand new stainless steel appliances, a queen bedroom downstairs, a king bedroom upstairs, and third bedroom upstairs with a queen bed and a twin over full bunkbed. The living room has a large cozy couch and 55` Smart TV.

There is a large enclosed back porch, and brand new exterior deck. There is also a private brick fireplace out back. Lots of privacy and space for guests to enjoy their coffee/tea, play games and relax.

This house is part of Explore Acadia Cottages. Guests can enjoy the community fire pit (if desired) and can walk the wooded trail to Hadley Point Beach (it`s a 20 min walk).

Guests can also pick up the free Island Explorer Shuttle bus from the house for ease of transportation. This house is in a great location, minutes from the local Hadley Point Beach, 5 mins from Acadia`s welcome center, several local restaurants nearby, and 10 mins to downtown Bar Harbor.

This house is spacious, recently renovated, and great for groups to enjoy Acadia.

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Song. The place was very clean with lots of character & I especially appreciated the wallpaper. The kitchen was well stocked & a nice coffee bar. The kids had lots of fun with the assortment of games. Also made good use of the hiking booklets. Communication was excellent, I would recommend to anyone visiting the Acadia area. Only one note there is one shower downstairs but we took turns.

We loved this place. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we could have needed.The traffic noise was annoying- we really appreciated the sound machine! The main disappointment is that VRBO listed this home as having 2 full bathrooms. The only shower is downstairs, so both upstairs bedrooms have to come downstairs to shower. We made it work (there were only 4 of us), but it was an inconvenience. We thought we were paying fpr 2 full baths allowing each couple to have their own.

Amazing Accommodations for Large Family

I stayed with my spouse, 3 children, my sister and her spouse and child and our mother for 4 nights in late June -- we ranged in age from 3-75. The house was very well accommodated and made us feel right at home. The large kitchen was great for cooking meals together and had everything we needed. The porch, firepit, and deck were great for cool evenings. The living room couch even fit all 9 of us! There were plenty of linens, towels, and pillows. There was air conditioning in each bedroom and in the main rooms. The Island Explorer bus is right outside the door. Sarah was super friendly and responsive. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back!
