Beautiful Villa in the Wyndham Rio Mar Resort

The villa consists of 1 master bedroom, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, family room, dining room, balcony and gardens. There are 2 small sofa beds, sleeping one person in each, in case you would like to use them.

It is equipped with air conditioning, cable TV and WiFi. You do not have to bring anything, only your bathing suits, because everything is provided in the villa such as towels, dinnerware, kitchen appliances such as microwave, stove, refrigerator, freezer, and utensils to cook your meals. Bathrooms include basic toiletries and have hot water. The villa includes one parking space and is close to the Golf Club House where you can walk and take the shuttle that brings you to the hotel. A golf cart can be provided to enjoy the stay.

My vacation

I went to Puerto Rico , and upon our arrival, Mr. Luis was waiting for us at the entrance of the gate to where we were going to stay . He was very courteous and attentive. Every time I would send him a text, he would reply back in less than 5 minutes. The place is very clean and beautiful. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you for allowing me and my family to stay at your beautiful home.

Beautiful Puerto Rico

The property manager (Luis) made the check in/out easy and was receptive to our questions. The villa was roomy and met all of our needs. The beach was a short 3-4 minute drive in a resort area. The beach was beautiful without crowds. We felt such a warm welcome from Luis, we would consider staying there again.

Perfect stay

Property was exactly as described and was very clean. The golf cart made getting around the property even easier and was a nice bonus we didn’t know about. Overall location, resort and surrounding restaurants was amazing and we had a fantastic time.

Great stay at Rio Mar

Property is as described and consists of spacious bedroom with a queen size bed and private bathroom, large living room with a second full bathroom, dining area, a small kitchen, and a terrace where you can relax viewing the golf course. Excellent host and great location. Two places for dinner worth mentioning, Iguanas at the golf club, and Don Pepe on hwy#3 by the entrance to Rio Mar.

Charming Villa

The check in process went very smoothly with Luis there to greet us. Villa nicely decorated, has large living area and all the amenities needed. All air units worked well. Be sure to confirm Wi-Fi code, how to operate living area lights, tvs and location of outside garbage bin. Washer and dryer were not operational. Also there are several steps down to the entrance. Loved the location to the Rainforest and beaches. Enjoyed our stay!

Luis is an amazing host!

Luis amicably greeted us upon arrival. He showed us through our super clean villa and pointed out the amenities, including the golf cart for use and the laundry. He told us what pool to go to and where we could get breakfast. The villa was a bit dated in appearance but was immaculately clean. It is about .8 of a mile to the main beach area and the resort. It is very close proximity to many restaurants, kioskos, beaches and the famous National park rainforest, El Yunque. The location is about a 40 minute drive to San Juan. There is no charge for parking. A couple of miles to a grocery store. All of the amenities you’d need for a stay including towels, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron, stove, laundry, etc. The bed is small, I’d say a double size. There is a lovely covered porch area that overlooks the golf club and course. It was a wonderful vacation and a great price for the area we stayed in! We always felt safe and Luis was wonderful to update us on any happenings.

Beware of this unit...

The owner and point of contact never informed me the air conditioner unit in the living room / loft was broke before we arrived. He also admitted he knew it was broke before we arrived, said he was waiting on a part. My two sons planned to sleep on the couch and futon in the loft, but it was way too hot! I had to share a bed with my son and my other son and to stay a few units over with a friend. I asked for a discount verbally and in the VRBO dashboard and never received a response. The bedroom linens on the bed were stained and in poor condition. They need to be donated or tossed in the trash. I did notice better quality sheets in the closet. I do not recommend this unit based on the owner not being upfront and honest.

We had a blast! Your place is/was perfect. Actually right next door to my two sisters. :) Thank you for an excellent rental, for the coffee, and the leche and other accommodations.Reservation through VRBO was seamless.The owner was awake at 3:30 a.m., when we arrived due to weather delays! The owner responded quickly to any questions. The unit was nice, adequate, air conditioned, with a covered outdoor seating area. Bedroom with en suite bath. Views of golf course and clubhouse. An excellent choice for our party.

Great villa, will come back soon!

The villa was beautiful—spacious rooms and a large living area made it feel very comfortable. The mezzanine was a great touch, offering some added privacy. I would have appreciated a larger kitchen, and it was a bit of a letdown that the golf cart was out of order (though the owner did apologize). Luis was fantastic—very responsive and helpful throughout the stay. I’ve already booked my next visit! Highly recommend.

Beautiful accommodations

We loved our stay here. Our flight came in late and I asked Luis if there would be coffee there already or if I needed to bring it. I wanted to be prepare for the morning since I knew stores would be closed on our arrival. he went out of his way to make sure we had coffee. He was quick to answer questions and even let us in personally and showed us around. I would stay here again.

Great rental/great location!

We chose this property specifically for its proximity to golf and El Yunque rainforest, both of which we enjoyed, although we were there during a two week deluge of rain and storms. Luis was a great host and communicator and made sure that there would a golf cart available for riding around the immense golf resort property. He also provided ample supplies to deal with potential power outages.

Beautiful 2b/2b higher end condo in very safe and well kept gated community on exclusive golf course with private beach access. That is everything on dad's list checked! Super close to El Yunque (a must visit in PR!). Better than the pictures depict!

Great location and pleasant setting

Located in beautiful setting adjacent to Yunque National Rainforest. Apartment is located in a unique resort setting, with an outstanding beach, and golf course. Quick drive to San Juan and the airport, you can enjoy great restaurants and nightlife, while laid back relaxation during the day. There are also plenty of nice restaurants near the apartment.

Peaceful gem

Luis was a super responsive host and the villa itself was a gem. It's a great change from the glass and aluminum box style spaces with its thick stucco walls and red tiles roofs it has a Mediterranean vibe. The large, deep balcony was angled for privacy from neighboring units, looked out on greenery and even stayed mostly dry in the occasional tropic rain bursts. Lots of interior room to spread out, too. Great find!

Great location

We stayed at this location to be close to the hotel for a wedding. The grounds are beautiful, we were a little disappointed being the pool was down for renovations during our stay but my family stayed at the hotel so we were able to use that pool. Luis was a great host! We had a golf cart so we could easily go back and forth to the hotel. We would definitely return. It is much more spacious than the pictures appear. Thank you Luis!

Could be a Gem….

The property and location is top notch. The host is very responsive and helpful. There are many things within the unit that need to be addressed before hosting more guests. The unit has endless potential…! Needs some TLC!
