The cabins were comfortable and well stocked. We had a great time on the water and by the fire. Everyone enjoyed the much needed screen breaks and the time outdoors.
The property was fantastic, and we especially enjoyed how private and peaceful it is. You cannot see or hear your neighbors, and the lake has very little boat traffic. The camp is beautiful and well stocked.

On Sand Pond
My daughter and her husband and two boys came from Oregon to spend a week with us in the cabin on Sand Pond. The boys are 15 and 11. Their three cousins were staying in our cabin across Sand Pond and there wasn’t enough room for all of us in that cabin so this one fit the bill. The boys slept in the loft. During the day they kayaked and fished and swam. We had picnics on a nearby rock in the lake. In the evenings they made S’mores at the fire pit. The weather was beautiful except for one sort of rainy day. The cabin came with many games that they played. They also watched a few kids movies which also had been supplied. They also played soccer on the field near the cabin. We found the beds comfortable and the cabin well stocked with dishes and pots and pans and utensils. Nat and Donna thought of everything. The grownups especially liked having the dishwasher and the washer and dryer!

Great Stay
Loved being in the woods ... Sand Pond more quiet than many others in the area and everything was well stocked and clean. Enjoyed the kayaks and already miss the sounds of the Loons calling. Hoping to return!

Perfect setting
This property and cottages are very well maintained and set on a perfect location. Quiet and relaxing. Hard to leave.
My family and I had an amazing vacation at the cottages in Denmark. Check in was very easy and the pictures do not do it justice. We had 8 adults and we were all very comfortable during out stay. The pond is perfect with clear water, great areas to kayak/canoe, and plenty of fish. The owners of the home made sure we had a great stay and left very helpful guides of the area. Overall we could not have asked for a better place to stay.
In a rating of 1-5 stars, we give this place a 10! We were privileged to spend 12 whole days here and we had everything we needed & more. Communication was timely & clear. The cabins were clean and beautiful. The bed, comfy. The kitchen well stocked (we cooked all our meals there). And the beauty?? Well, that was splendor & glory all around!! We LOVED paddling on the lakes, watching all the sunrises & sunsets, listening to the loons & wild turkeys, etc. The setting was private and quiet and we felt completely at home. Please note we had no cell phone service there (we have AT&T). We did, however, have internet without a problem.
We cannot say enough good or give enough praise or thanks for our time spent here. If you have the opportunity, GO.
Go, go, go :).
We truly enjoyed our stay. Our two year old grandchild; Caspian, was so excited about the water and the boats. He was running around grinning and giggling. Our adult sons and daughter found the fire pit most enjoyable. We all enjoyed playing Canasta on the porch til late at night. Thank you once again.
This property is very quiet and secluded. We enjoyed our stay very much. We made great use of all the kayaks and canoe that are there to use. We rented a boat on Long Lake for a day of tubing. Really had a great relaxing time.
We had a great vacation week at this property. Everything is as appears in the photos and listed details. There was plenty of space with room to spare between the two cabins for our two families. Upon arrival we had a small issue, but the owner responded very quickly to remedy the situation. He also checked in with us later on to make sure that everything was going well. We were blessed with good weather for our entire stay and spent lots of time on the pond. We fished, swam, kayaked, and canoed. (5 kayaks and 1 canoe with lots of lifejackets were provided) There was a beautiful sandy swimming spot on the adjacent pond - just a 5 minute canoe/kayak ride away. We also spent hours swimming around the dock area of the property - the entry is gradual and easy for the smaller children to get in and out. For the older kids, there was a big rock "island" nearby with a deep jumping spot. The fishing was great first thing in the morning and right before sunset - everyone caught at least one fish, a couple from the canoe but mostly just from the dock. There was plenty of outdoor seating on the porches and around the fire pit. The property is very quiet and private - lots of paths to explore. There is a small store at the end of the road that had a little bit of everything - bait, grocery items, ice cream, a variety of adult and non-alcoholic beverages, gas, and take out. We did venture into nearby Bridgton a couple times for larger grocery trips and dinner at The Black Horse Tavern, but didn't really have any other reason to leave the property. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and we used the grill a lot to avoid heating up the house on the super hot days. This was just what we needed to unwind from our busy lives. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Family Reunion 2018
This was a wonderful vacation spot. Everything was clean and organized - so relaxing anywhere you were on the property. Either the deck off the cottage or down by the water - just lovely. Kayaks and a canoe were available for your enjoyment - we brought our own floating devices but I do think there were other things available. The water was crystal clear - hated to leave the lake. The main cottage was perfect for all 8-10 of us - photos do not do it justice. Many memories were made at this lovely cottage. We thank the owners for opening up such a great vacation spot for us to use. So clean, well stocked, just a wonderful place. Thank you

A Place of Natural Beauty
Everyone from age one to 70 enjoyed the beauty, peace and quiet of this lovely place. The cabins were extremely well-equipped with all the amenities and good use was made of kayaks, etc on the water. It was a great place to spend a week with family.

Loved this place!
My family and I stayed in this lovely lakefront retreat to celebrate my 5 year old son's birthday. We all had an amazing time! Very cozy and the set up was perfect. The children had a blast. Weather was not too great, it rained a lot but we made the best of it. I really like that there was no cable or satellite. This helped the family bond more. Children got to pick a movie to watch from the collection provided. Beds were very comfortable. Home had everything you need to have a successful family getaway. Only thing was one of the rooms in the guest house did not have a space heater but that's an easy fix that I'm sure the owners can add. Lake was beautiful! Thinking of booking again maybe this summer =) I Highly recommend this Lakefront Retreat!
