The Wallasey is everything pictured and more. We were so comfortable with our family of 6 (ages ranging from 80s to 2 years old). It truly felt like home, with all our needs met and more. In addition, the location can not be beat. 5 min walk away from downtown Mystic with beautiful dock views directly from the property. Couldn't recommend it enough.
Everything about our stay was heavenly: to the meticulously thoughtful design details, cleanliness of the home, to the excellent location. We had the best weekend with our group of friends, and cannot wait to be back! Thank you for having us!
We stayed at The Wallasey for two nights and we couldn’t have had a better time. The house is an absolute dream - gorgeous in every detail, every bedroom comfortable and stylish, every bathroom spa-like. Martine is a thoughtful, wonderful host, and there is absolutely nothing we’d change! We actually canceled dinner reservations to enjoy more time at the house. We are certainly coming back to enjoy the house and Mystic!
Our family of 9 traveled to Mystic Seaport to celebrate an 80th birthday, and our stay at the Wallasey exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, as it is very close to town and within walking distance of most attractions. The house is new and immaculate. The decorating, furnishings, layout and appliances are all first-rate. There was plenty of room for everyone. While the cooler weather prohibited our using the deck, it is spacious and has a superb view of the harbor. The host, Martine, could not have been more attentive to our needs, responding quickly to questions we had regarding restaurants, bakeries, etc. The Wallasey is a treasure, and we hope to return to this lovely house in the future.
The Wallasey was the perfect home base for our large family/extended family to celebrate our son's graduation from the Coast Guard Academy. We had 13 adults in the home. The 7 bedrooms worked well and all the guests said the beds were comfortable. The linens were crisp and the en-suites were well stocked with all the toiletries one could need. We stayed up late playing games and loved that the dining room had lots of seating to accommodate us. Movies in the living room were also a hit. We enjoyed a cookout on the patio and used to kitchen to make breakfast. We all loved how close the home is to downtown Mystic and took many walks to Sift and Drawbridge Ice Cream.Martine was a wonderful host. She checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. The Wallasey is a beautiful home and a lot of thought and expense went into creating a home that is both welcoming and functional. I highly recommend it to those who will treat it with care and respect.
