About this property
Quiet residential Wallingford Neighborhood Central
Mid-century apartment well preserved with recent renovation. Interior designer and stone mason owners display their talent to include spa inspired bathroom with Turkish travertine shower, vanity, and mosaic heated floor. Designer colors and furnishings create a comfortable environment throughout the lovely unit. The bedroom's queen size bed is well appointed with a Sealy Posturepedic Euro Pillow Top mattress, custom upholstered headboard, down comforter, down pillows, high thread count sheets. The living room chaise lounge sofa is perfect for reading or viewing 42'' plasma TV. The TV comes with Roku including Hulu + Live TV. Small dining room table will also serve nicely as a desk. Kitchen has original red tile with newer appliances and the simple basics for cooking at home. The apartment unit is situated on the back side of a 4 unit apartment building with tall fence to create a courtyard setting and private entrance. Large windows bring in an abundance of light and great view of courtyard garden.
One of the charms of this property is that it is in a quiet neighborhood for a city location. As much as we want our guests to have a good time, please be aware this is not a party pad. The sofa is not intended for additional sleeping guests and additional bedding is not provided.

Close to Stone Way for bus lines to downtown, etc. Stone Way starts at Lake Union and goes north to Greenlake and is quickly becoming a hot new street with new restaurants and shopping. Near Gasworks Park, Burke Gilman Trail, Fremont, The Troll, Woodland Park Zoo, 2 miles to Husky stadium and University of Washington. Business travelers will find this a convenient location to software, internet, and biotech companies located in Fremont and South Lake Union. Apartment was perfect for Seattle stay! Randy was excellent and very accommodating to anything in her power. The stay was great everything was clean, nice and well stocked and the shower was great! The location is quiet and excellent for seeing the entire city. I would definitely stay again!
This apartment was perfect for my daughter and I during move-in week at UW. It is close to campus, clean, quiet and comfortable. The neighborhood is very nice and there are restaurants in walking distance. Randy was great! Very helpful and a great communicator. I will definitely stay here again when I’m in Seattle.
This property was very comfortable. The bathroom and kitchen were very nice and easy to operate sinks and shower. Only negative thing was there was mouse poop and a mouse trap under the living room sofa. The shower had no soap in it.

I wanted to correct this review, the mouse traps that were mentioned are actually spider traps and the "poop" was a dead spider by the trap. In the Northwest during this time of year the spiders come inside so we put traps out, this helps keep the spiders that do come inside to a minimum. We do not have rodents in any of our apartments.
I do apologize for the lack of soap in the shower, sometimes the cleaners overlook some of the supplies and I was unable to conduct a walk thru before check-in, however I always tell guests if they need anything during their stay please contact me, I live 5 minutes from the property and I am more than happy to supply them with any missing supplies.
I was impressed by the amenities and spaciousness of the place. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a pity I was only staying two nights!

Relaxing Oasis.
We loved the quietness of our stay. The private garden patio invited birdsong into the living space. The Wallingford location made it easy to leave the car behind so we could visit Seattle by bus. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming, we'd gladly stay with them again.

It is wonderful when the privacy and quietness of our property is enjoyed and appreciated; especially in a city neighborhood. Thank you for mentioning the songbirds. We hope to visit your property LISTING #408499 someday, as it also appears very tranquil.
Place is simple, organized, and clean. Host is friendly. Only cons were the community laundry room was behind the bedroom wall, so it could be noisy at times but there are no use hours at night. We stayed for a month and for a few days there were new guests above us that were loud overnight making it hard to sleep. It is a bottom back unit away from the street which is a plus but sunlight may be limiting, which isn’t really an issue since we were out mostly.
This condo is perfectly located!!! A great older but well maintained part of the city. Walkable to green lake and gasworks park! 10 minutes to the space needle, 15 minutes to pikes place and the ballfields. Honestly had the best time!
Adorable & quiet neighborhood, walking distance to food, ice cream, shops, and Lake Union but bring your walking shoes as it is a bit hilly. Apartment is tucked behind the front units, so it doesn't get a lot of sunlight, but didn't bother us much as we were out and about during the day. A great place to stay while checking out the surrounding Universities. Close to UW and Seattle Pacific. The heated floor in the bathroom was a treat!
The apartment was very clean and exactly as described and pictured. Quiet neighborhood. We rented a car and it was very easy to get to Seattle Center and University of Washington.
Everything was as expected, the instructions were clear and very easy to follow. My partner and I wanted to check out the neighborhood as we are thinking of moving to Seattle. Walkable to amenities (5 min to shops on Stone Way & 10-15 to Fremont restaurants at the "Center of the Universe"). As a landscape designer, my one of my favorite parts of the area were the gorgeous gardens/homes and the very convenient walk to Gas Works Park. We didn't have a car but the street parking looked easy enough. Lime bikes were easy to find and operate.
If we were there for a longer stay the only thing I would wish to have access to would be a table & chairs in the concrete patio space behind the building.
The apartment is clean and quiet.
The grounds, and indeed, the neighborhood are very lovely.
Management, (Randy) is a very nice man who will go that extra mile to make sure that you have everything you need for a comfortable stay.
I simply couldn't be happier.
The property itself was adequate with nice bathroom and bed. Hosts were reliable and helpful. Decor needs updating. I found property actually to be dark and depressing although it did have everything I needed. It worked for me as I spent most time at my son’s home. With updating, it would be much more inviting.
The check-in was simple and comprehensive. The lodging was clean, well organized, and overall pleasant. Everything necessary for a comfortable stay was at our disposal. Would highly recommend.
Here to visit family and new grand baby. Love this location as we can walk everywhere we needed to be. Whole apartment worked great without any problems.

About the host
Hosted by Randy & Teri Erickson
My husband grew up visiting his grandmother in this small apartment building. We moved in as newlyweds in 1996 in this one bedroom unit. We called it the ''honeymoon suite''. Over a decade of managing the units as long term rentals, we decided to furnish units and offer as furnished short term rentals.
Why they chose this property
Close to busy Wallingford, Fremont, Lake Union, Greenlake & the University of Washington. Quick and easy access to downtown. Tucked away in the Wallingford neighborhood. It is a short street with low traffic volume, therefore is a nice quiet location.
What makes this property unique
Since my husband's grandmother was the original owner; we have lovingly cared for this mid-century structure. We are both in the design & construction industry and have applied personal touches.
