great location, super clean, everything worked - so super satisfied. but 2 points the step after entry is not expected and can cause one to trip - and more pots and pans - we cook, otherwise just great, thank you
The beautiful pictures don’t even do it justice. This house has everything you could possibly need and more. From a well stocked kitchen to beautiful common areas to lovely bedrooms with exceptionally comfortable beds. Plenty of towels for the 3 full bathrooms. And the back porch and conveniently located beach access are perfection. The house easily accommodated our extended family as we gathered for a somber occasion. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Property is in a nice location on the water and has a nice view, a shaded porch, and easy access to the water. However, the listing does not reflect that the queen bedroom on the third floor is not included in the central air system of the house and instead is cooled by a portable unit that sits in the middle of the room, and because it does not effectively cool the room, there are 2 standing fans to help out. Nonetheless the room is uncomfortably warm during the day and on warm evenings and very noisy because of all the cooling equipment. One of the other queen bedrooms is small and so cramped with furniture that it is hard to move easily around the room (and we found crackers and a wad of paper towels under the dresser). Finally, given how expensive this house was to rent, we expected better than a living room rug riddled with stains and a kitchen table covered in plastic.

Thank you for chosing to stay with us at our Niantic beach house this August. We are pleased to hear that your very very large group all enjoyed the bay and the porch during your week long trip. Although, we do want to reinforce that the information regarding the 3rd floor AC unit and table cloth table cover are indeed included clearly on our listing page. We even sent message instructions on the best way to operate the 3rd floor AC unit, and to reach out if there is any trouble. We had never received any messages from you regarding this cooling unit, so we were not able to assist.
Unfortunately, you also seemed to have left out of your review that your group brought many more guests than allowed, and more vehicles than allowed at the home. The home was left quite dirty and in dissaray upon your departure. Perhaps this was the confusion with all of the alleged trash under a dresser and a stained carpet. Both carpets (in living room kitchen table) needed to be replaced since your trip.
