Spacious upstairs unit in a duplex located just one house from the sand. Great location for fun in the sun! Enjoy the peak-a-boo views of the beach from the balcony and the living/dining room areas. Two car parking, large rear deck, dishwasher, and shared laundry room. Perfect location for families to enjoy all that Newport Beach has to offer!

General Info:

Minimum Age Requirement: The minimum age to rent this unit is 25 years old and to finalize the reservation a secure guest verification portal must be completed.

**All reservations are subject to owner approval**

Pets: Pets are not permitted on or about the premises. ADA service animals required because of a disability are allowed with advanced notice. ESA's, Emotional Support Animals, are not allowed.

Parking: 2 car parking - This unit provides 2 carport spaces. (a 3rd parking space is available blocking in the two carport spaces but can only accommodate standard size vehicles. The floor plan shows 3 parking spaces but one of those is for the lower unit)

Bedding: Blankets, mattress pads, bed spreads, pillows, sheets and towels are provided!

Kitchen/Supplies: Our kitchens are supplied with all the basic dishes, utensils and cookware needed for everyday cooking. We also stock some cleaning supplies and dry goods such as paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filters, trash bags, foil, etc. to help you begin your vacation however you may need to purchase additional supplies during your stay. We do not provide certain cooking items including salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc. as well as specialty cookware.

You may want to bring: Laundry detergent, beach chairs/equipment, paper plates/plastic cutlery, extra beach towels, pens and paper, etc.

This unit has so much SPACE! The living area, the bedrooms, everything was very spacious and comfortable. And it is so close to the water, you can literally be at the sand in a minute, the water in two. We were just a group of 5, so we had more than enough beds, but another thing that surprised us was how much closet/storage space there was for the space. The beds and couches and dining area were very comfortable. The fans helped a lot overnight. It was hot outside while we were there but the AC worked really well and kept us cool. It's a nice and quiet area of the beach, even over Labor Day weekend. And there is a great little corner with lots of amazing food, coffee and donuts for our mornings, even a bar for some drinks, all just an 8-10 minute walk away. The parking spots were clutch being so close to the water. The showers had great water pressure and everything was very well stocked. Previous reviews and the listing had mentioned bringing our own additional beach towels and paper products, which we did, but there was plenty of everything and even a whole set of beach towels provided for us, which we were so thankful for!This really was a great place and stay, and just for those who want to know, the sand at this beach is soft and the walk to the water is short and only a gradual decline. There are areas with more shells and a steeper drop to the water north and south of the beach closest to this listing.

Great for Multi/large Familes!

The property is close to the ocean (although it doesn't have an ocean view). You don't have to haul your beach equipment very far to enjoy the beach. The property is big! We had a party of 10 and all had a decent bed and we had plenty of room to eat together, play games and talk (although we really were outside more than inside). The furnishings are adequate and definitely dated and well-used, but functional. Everything was clean (the property has not been updated, so it looks very well-used). We did need to restock things like toilet paper and paper towels. We loved the 3 car parking access. The unit is worth it for that alone! There are a few beach chairs in the laundry room, but we had brought our own so we can't speak to the integrity of them (they again looked well-used). There were no kitchen food essentials (like salt, pepper) so be prepared to go shopping for even the basics. The kitchen was adequately stocked with cooking and eating utensils. The refrigerator/freezer was large and kept items properly cold. The bathrooms were clean and large. We had plenty of hot water and the plumbing worked great. The blinds in the back bedrooms were awful! They have new blinds everywhere else but for some reason didn't update those blinds. Every time we opened/closed them a panel fell off. That was extremely frustrating. We were there over the week of July 4. It got quite wild outside (but we still felt very safe) so keep that in mind for the day of July 4. It was quite pleasant/quiet the rest of the week. The week we stayed, the weather was unseasonably hot. The unit has no air conditioning. We kept the blinds closed to keep out the sun, made sure as many windows as possible were open and kept the front door open when someone was at the unit. It cooled down quickly at night. Towels and beach towels are provided. They were clean and of good quality. Overall, we would stay there again for a large family event. We loved working with Villa Rentals. They were helpful and addressed any needs immediately. I would definitely recommend using the linen rental service. It was nice to have our beds all made up with nice clean sheets and not have to haul our own bedding to/from the unit.

Our Favorite Beach Getaway

My family and our friends have been coming to this property every June for 5 years. It's big enough for our crowd of 4 adults and 5 teenagers, and it's fully stocked with everything you might need (other than linens) right down to the board games and paperback books. We hit up the nearby Trader Joe's and do our own cooking. But if you want to go out, there are fantastic restaurants nearby. The beach is literally steps away and it has never been crowded, even on the weekend. We bring our bikes every year because you can hop on the bike path right out the door and ride out past Huntington Beach, or inland along the river to a nature preserve. It's also within biking distance to a Safeway Store, so once you park (and there are 2 parking placed, very convenient) you don't have to drive anywhere!
