Nestled in Southwest Harbor, this delightful apartment, “Seawall,” has partial views of the Harbor and is an easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and cafes. Partially renovated in 2025, the unit is on the second level of a five-level condo building. The space offers 2 cozy bedrooms with queen beds and a futon couch/bed in the living area for additional guests.
Southwest Harbor is known as the “quiet side” of Mount Desert Island. There are many hikes, walks, and attractions in nearby Acadia National Park, such as the Seawall, Bass Harbor Lighthouse, Echo Lake Beach, and hiking trails at Acadia, Saint Sauveur, Flying, Beech, Mansell, and Bernard Mountains. There are several places for lobster nearby!

This unit is located on the second floor, with a streetside ground-level entrance at the front of the building and a rear entrance with outside stair access. The street-side entrance opens to a hallway with interior entrances to two units- “Seawall” and “Manset.”

Outdoor Space
Small deck at back entrance with table and chairs, partial harbor view. This deck is designated for the Seawall unit. Be aware that the entrance to the three upstairs units is at the far end of this deck. Shared parking for the building is available in the back, although there are no designated spaces.

Air Conditioning & Fans
Each bedroom is equipped with a portable air conditioning unit. There is a ceiling fan in the main living area and in each bedroom, as well as a portable fan in the bedrooms.

We will send instructions on accessing the apartment after the reservation is made. You can contact us during your stay if you have any needs or concerns.
Please note: This is an older building with limited insulation located on busy Main Street. There is regular traffic and traffic noise, and limited insulation between floors may allow noise from neighbors. If there is excessive noise from neighbors, guests can contact me so I can help to resolve the issue.
Please respect the building’s quiet time between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please refrain from running the washer or dryer during that time to minimize noise disturbance to other units.

We need enough time to properly clean the unit before the next guests’ arrival. You will be charged a $150 fee if you are out of the unit later than 11:15, and you will be charged an additional $50 for every 15-minute interval that you are late afterwards.
No Pets are allowed.
If you are found having a pet, you will be charged an extra $400 Pet Fee.
No Parties or Events are allowed.
In the case of a party or event, we will terminate your stay without reimbursement, and you will be charged an extra $1000 fee.
No smoking anywhere in the unit.
