We were blown away by this property! Not a single hiccup or disappointment and everything felt extremely welcoming, from friendly communication with the host to the well stocked and very clean, beautiful home. It was the perfect landing spot for a busy, fun weekend in Canandaigua for a family wedding. 5 minute drive to everything we needed! Will definitely be looking this place up again when we travel back to the area.

Overall great

The house and property were fantastic! The home was very comfortable and accommodating for all of our needs. It is in a beautiful setting in the countryside just outside of town. We even saw some deers! Everything was clean and the hot tub was nice and hot and the beds were comfortable. The only issues we faced (that led to the 4 rather than 5 star review) were the crazy amount of stink bugs upstairs on the walls, curtains and windows, as well as how hot it was up there. The AC worked great downstairs and was super cold but it just wouldn’t get the upstairs cooler than maybe 78-80 degrees. Thankfully there are plenty of fans to help with that. I will say that the owner did offer to have a pest control company come to address the bugs, however we declined because we had a house full and it would have been inconvenient. The bugs don’t bite, they were just a nuisance. Overall the place was great and we would stay again and recommend for others.

Thank you for your review. We have since had the ac re-zoned as we realized it had not been keeping up the cooling upstairs, that is fixed now thankfully! As far as the stink bugs, I apologize for that nuisance. We had the house sprayed prior to your stay but with the weather around here this year the stink bugs have been trying to take cover from the rain! The house was sprayed again for preventative maintenance and we did not see any when we came after you checked out. We appreciate your feedback, you were our third guest so we appreciate any info to make our guests stays better!
