About this property

Right on the Kenai River! Comfortable condo great for fishing or sightseeing

This comfortable condo is in Soldotna, right on the Kenai River. Private river access with great fishing and all the amenities - cleaning station, nets, stringers, freezer space all included. The condo has a full kitchen, living/dining area, and full bathroom downstairs. the downstairs also has futon bed couch. The large upstairs has a new queen bed, bunk bed, and twin bed along with a convenient new half bath. There is a large deck with a grill out front and a common area with gas grill and viewing area.

The condo is part of a complex of 12 units overlooking the Kenai River. We have over 150 ft of private river frontage with a metal walkway and access to get in the river. the deck has a fish cleaning station, stringers, and nets for common use. The complex is spacious with a large lawn area, fish cleaning area, large clean laundry facilities and freezer space available. The unit is furnished with all the linens, towels, dishes, etc. that you will need for your stay. The condo is only a couple minute drive to Soldotna where you can find all the conveniences of town, but the condo is set on a property that also has a great wilderness atmosphere. Location, location, location! The complex has a family atmosphere with most owners staying for the entire summer. Our rates are one of the best values in town for a truly wonderful vacation property.

Overall, the condo and location are excellent. It has everything needed for a very comfortable stay, including kitchen wares, appliances, etc. I just wish it had (had room for) a TV in the bedroom.

Comfortable and convenient!

The condo itself is very comfortable and taken care of. The location is awesome since its right in the heart of Soldotna. However, it feels surprisingly secluded because it is tucked away. It's located right by the river, so it's a perfect place to stay whether you're there to fish, repax, or for work.

Amazing Alaskan Spot

We stayed at this location for a total of 4 nights. Checking in was so easy and communication with the property manager was great. The property was so clean and right on the Kenai River with easy access to the river. We did not dish, but I can see where this would be such a great place to stay during salmon season. Can’t thank you enough for the amazing hospitality!!! I highly recommend this property!!!

Overall nice with easy check-in. Great location next to the river and great kitchen. The bedroom is upstairs and was very hot at night. A fan would help make that space more comfortable.

This was just what we needed. A group of four went to fish the Kenai River for silvers. It is not big, but it is plenty spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The owner was a great communicator and the gentleman who cleans the units was extremely friendly and helpful. Although the silvers were essentially between runs, and where were not able to pick up any at the property, we got plenty of rainbow trout right off the dock. We had sufficient room to hang up our waders every night inside or outside, depending on the weather, and the rod rack outside was a nice touch to keep our rods and reels in between fishing excursions. Would definitely stay here again, and plan to in the future.

Enjoying the great city of Soldotna

The property was clean and well maintained. The locations was right on the Kenai River which provided some good fishing opportunities. Unfortunately the run hadn't started yet. The property is convenient to all stores you would need.

We are a Utah family that loves to spend time in Alaska. I have been coming up for over 20 years to fish and explore the Kenai Peninsula. Finally we took the plunge and bought our Condo situated right on the Kenai River.

Why they chose this property

The property is ideal because our property is right in the middle of it all. We are located in the Kenai River Private Property Residences. It is a secluded complex right on the Kenai River. It has a family atmosphere that conveys relaxation the moment you drive on the property. The condo opens up to a beautiful open lawn overlooking the river. It has private river access on the Kenai River for sightseeing or fishing. It has 2 convenient viewing areas for relaxing or having a barbecue meal. While it is conveniently located on the Kenai River for world-class fishing, it is also close to town for all the amenities. We are surrounded by wilderness areas and State parks which include an abundance of wildlife. It is not uncommon to see much wildlife including Moose and Bald eagles. It is an easy drive to Homer or Seward. Both are majestic ports for ocean fishing and sightseeing. You can view a multitude of glaciers, whales and other wildlife in the Kenai Fjords National park at Seward. Or visit the beautiful town of Homer, known as the Halibut fishing capital of the world. Homer is one of the most beautiful towns you will ever see with mountain ranges and glaciers surrounding Kachemak Bay. It is also the gateway to Katmai National Park - where there is world class bear viewing. You can also do a variety of fly outs for wilderness fishing or bear viewing right from Soldotna. There is so much to do and so much to see and we are right in the middle of it. but the best part is the fishing and we are glad to recommend guides to make your visit memorable.
