Great holidays

We spent a great family time at Adme’s house.The house has everything. Was very clean and well maintained . Will highly recommend.

If you are looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful natural setting, then this is the place for you. The house is an 18C farmhouse high on a Tuscan hillside, at least 500m to the nearest neighbor. It has been renovated into a comfortable holiday home. While the interior was lovely, we spent most of our time on the veranda, which is large enough to include a large dining table and a pair of couches. From there we sipped our morning coffee and watched the sunset every evening. The kitchen was reasonably well appointed, allowing us to cook up some tasty meals. We used 3 bedrooms, each quite spacious and fitted with antique furnishings. One had a queen size bed and the other two each with twin beds. And each bedroom had its own bathroom. It should be pointed out that all this seclusion means that it is a 30 minute drive to anything - restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy - most of that over gravel roads. If you are preparing your own meals it will be beneficial to bring your groceries with you when you come. Castellina in Chianti and Radda are the nearest towns, both offering fine restaurants. Some of Italy’s finest wines are grown on nearby hillsides, so there are plenty of wineries to visit. My family had a wonderful stay here and brought home many happy memories.
