Charming, Clean, the Perfect Beach Escape!

My family of 4 and our dog couldn't have loved our time any more at the Pirates Beach Retreat! The house was updated and so clean. The fenced in yard was so very nice for our kids and pup. The upstairs patio was perfect for relaxing. They provided everything we needed, and the entire stay went so smoothly and was so enjoyable!

We stayed at Pirates Beach Retreat - Let Yourself Go so we could have access to the wonderful beach during the 4th of July. The beach is a very quick golf cart ride or short walk away. The property is as advertised: clean, comfortable, and very accommodating for any family to enjoy a beach getaway! We look forward to coming back!

Beautiful beach houseThank you for sharing with us your beautiful house. We really enjoyed this house with my family. The house is so beautiful, clean, cozy and has a great decor, bath and bedrooms are very nice, beds are comfortable. kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Very relaxed inside and outside. The exterior is the same very nice, clean and comfortable place. Perfect location for the beach just like 8 minutes walk away.

Home away from home!

We had a wonderful stay. The house is very comfy and exceptionally clean! Everything you could need is provided! All beds are very comfortable with really soft sheets! We loved the fenced in yard since it makes it so much easier to keep the dogs happy! We definitely would stay here again! Thank you!

This house was spectacular! Everything was immaculate and beautifully designed. It was perfect for our family and our pup. Excellent access to Pirate’s Beach, which was never crowded. The golf cart rental made it even faster to get to the beach. My boys are already planning our stay for next year!

Modern, cozy, and great neighborhood!

We have stayed at probably 10 different properties at Galveston, all very similar in size and style and proximity. This property has moved into our top three for several reasons…. property is in Pirates Beach which is in a great neighborhood. It’s in the back of the neighborhood, but it is still walking distance. I absolutely love that. This property has really great lighting, which is rare for rental units. It has warm lighting and almost half the property is on dimmers and or has lamps. Moat rental units have the bright white institutional lighting that does not feel warm and cozy for us and the dimmers make it feel like you’re at your personal home. Well many beach houses have been renovated with nice updates, often they lack the details that truly make it comfortable for staying in. This one has the lighting upgrades, but they also have the window treatments. All window have roller shades, blinds and or drapery. That keeps it dark in the bedrooms until you’re ready to get out of bed. (the living room room does have light filtering roller shades, and can get really bright midday, but you can open the umbrella on the deck on the other side of the windows to help with that). They also have the gate on the deck and a perimeter gate around the entire property so if it being a pet friendly property, it is really nice that you don’t feel like you have to have your dogs on a leash but that you can just let them out when you’re there. There is also a great space in the master bath closet with tile underneath to set up a dog crate if you were going to leave your dog created when you’re not there or at night. Overall a great property!

We had a great stay at this beach house in Pirates Beach! It was the perfect size for our group of 7 and had everything we needed for a comfortable trip. The house was very clean and well-stocked with beach supplies. The owner was also very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.
