I was a little hesitant to book this because of the reviews on vrbo however, Im glad I went with my gut and booked it. It was clean, stocked with towels, wash cloths, bedding. The AC was cold! It was cozy and inviting. The intricacies of the build were impressive. The yard was spacious for our dogs to play. There was a nice sitting area outside however because summers are brutal we didn't really get to enjoy. We loved the big shade tree. It wasnt in town but it was close enough to get door dash after we were tired from exploring nearby all day. The neighborhood is quiet which is a big plus!In summary, I definitely recommend this property for whether your going to explore nature nearby in Hagarville or whether your going to stay at the house all day and relax. We will book this property again in the fall. Thank you so much !

Thank you so much for the positive review, it really does mean alot to us. Our housekeeping staff does a wonderful job and I am so happy that you enjoyed the stay. They have so many hiking trails around and bike trails that in the fall I hope you enjoy them. All trails is a very helpful app if that interests you. We love to hike ourselves so we hopefully see you in the fall!!!!!
This property was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, the entire space had a strong smoke odor, making it uncomfortable to even stay inside. My husband has asthma, and the environment was not safe for him to be in, so we were forced to leave shortly after arriving. The cleanliness was unacceptable. The downstairs bed reeked strongly of dog urine and feces to the point we were gagging. While we understand this is a pet-friendly property, that does not excuse the lack of proper cleaning and sanitation prior to guest arrival. There was also a dog bed in the living room that was so filthy even our dogs would not go near it.The front door was held closed and only locked from the outside with a padlock. From the inside, it could only be secured with a sliding bolt that was just screwed into the wall. Additionally, all the windows were unlocked upon our arrival.Communication with the host made matters worse. When we raised these issues, the host called us liars. We ultimately had to involve VRBO support due to the condition of the property and the difficulty resolving the situation directly with the host. Despite being unable to stay due to these conditions, we were not provided a refund. VRBO’s reasoning for not giving a refund was that the host claimed smoking was allowed, even though house rules clearly state that smoking was not permitted. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and I would strongly caution others before booking this property.
Wonderful little cabin. I very much enjoyed my stay there. The host was very responsive to questions. They even had a built in dog bed if you're traveling with your pet. Would definitely rent again.
There was a pad lock on the outside of the only door to the place. It was not a safe place to stay. I called VRBO 10 minutes after I arrived at the place I did not enter. I left and was on the phone with VRBO for at least an hour trying to get a refund. VRBO refused a refund telling me the place was fine to stay in. VRBO did not take me safety into consideration only the opinion of the host. VRBO and the host said to take the lock inside with me but the fact remains that someone could have come along behind me and used another lock to put into the latch. This is not safe for anyone! The listing needs to be taken off VRBO for this safety hazard.
