Short stay

We booked this strictly based on location! Worked well for us! Driveway was tight with boat & trailer, limbs low be cautious can scratch your boat other than that no complaints

nice rental on Lake Gaston

My husband and I and our dog had a great time at this Lake Gaston house. The location of the property is great-close to the Food Lion, several restaurants, Ace Hardware, and Jenny Cakes bakery. It is also in a cove which is very calm and not a lot of boat/jet ski traffic. Nice shade in the back yard. The dock and chairs were nice to have so you can sit outside at night and enjoy the peace. The house was very clean and had plenty of space for us. The host does a great job of communicating so check in and out is seamless. The only thing I saw that might be helpful to update is the carpeting as it was stained in several places. A book/binder about the house and area would be a nice addition. I would recommend this property and hope to return in the future.

Yard is nice, lake is peaceful. Be aware, to access the main lake, your boat has to fit through a 9 foot wide, 5.5 foot high tunnel. There is a current running through the tunnel as well. Most ski boats will not fit. Search Lizard creek tunnel info for Lake Gaston for accurate information.
