About this property
A Waterfront Retreat with Private Deep Water Dock. Dogs allowed upon request
Tucked away on a private 1.5 acre property, this beautiful oceanfront retreat, just across the Cousins Island bridge, is a stone's throw to historic Yarmouth Village and minutes to Portland's renowned art scene, restaurants and unique boutiques, Brunswick, home to Bowdoin College, the Bowdoin Collega and the Peary-MacMillan Arctic Museums, the charming town of Bath, Freeport's famous outlet shopping, and plenty of scenic day trips and adventures from Kennebunkport to Kingfield.Built by an inventor, this home is sure to delight with many clever inventions throughout. The home is filled with original art from Maine artists and artisans many of whom work and study in the premises 'off season'.
Every room overlooks gorgeous Casco Bay. The main floor features an eat-in-kitchen, formal dining room, library/computer room, living room and powder room. The second floor offers two bedrooms (one with a double bed, the master with a king or twin beds), a sitting room and bathroom with shower and tub. The lower level features a third bedroom(king or twin) with bath. The family room and media center has direct access to the patio, deck and grounds. A wet bar with a wine refrigerator and mini kitchen service the downstairs entertainment area. The grilling patio area with solo fire pit is perfect for outside entertaining. A third double bedroom (with twin beds), and a separate laundry room completes the lower level.
The secluded setting features a large stone and brick terrace and path leading to a waterside viewing deck and a private deep-water dock. When launched the resident 38' Morris yacht with Captain is available for day charters or sunset cruises. Other boating alternatives can be arranged. Sit back, relax and enjoy the exquisite views, glorious sunsets--and experience the magic of Maine.
