Perfect Family Vacation Spot - Cabin on Balsam Lake

Welcome to Worries End! Our family cabin is a short drive from the Twin Cities and is the perfect place to relax for a summer or winter vacation.

Our cabin was built in 2016 and offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a good sized basement family room, sitting room with a fireplace and a porch just steps from the lake. There is a queen bed, a full size bed and a bunk room that offers 2 full beds, a twin and a full trundle. It has all the conveniences of home, including central air conditioning. Outside there is a flat lawn on the lakeside and 2 docks that provide fantastic swimming and fishing.

Balsam Lake Wisconsin is a premier vacation location. It is 25 minutes from St Croix Falls and about 75 minutes from the Twin Cities. The lake is 2000+ acres with great fishing and water fun. The local Marina (Sunnyside Marine) has boats, pontoons and other water toys to rent. There are 2 restaurants that you can boat to on the lake and countless other great eating spots within 20 minutes of the property. Turtle Lake Casino, Wild Mountain, Trollhaugen and Taylors Falls are all about a 25 minute drive from the property and offer many fun activities. For the winter enthusiasts, the lake is great for ice fishing and the Gandy Dancer Snowmobile trail is right there.

Second stay!

Beautiful, quiet location, we will be back for a third time. We enjoyed several of the recommended restaurants and activities, our teenagers enjoyed the downstairs space.

Cozy Red House

Our young boys had a blast fishing off the dock, kayaking, and a day of boating on Balsam Lake. The house itself was great and the screened-in porch was a perfect late-night gathering spot.

Absolutely amazing! Scott responded to all questions and the area was beautiful!

The property was wonderful! Extremely clean and had all the amenities! Our stay was cut short due to weather and Scott came up to check to see if everyone was okay. Best place to stay for house and great “host”

Balsam Lake is a place my family was going to before I was born (1953) A very nice well-appointed home done in a wonderful Wisconsin lodge theme.

Exceptional cabin on Beautiful Balsam Lake

This is the perfect cabin for family vacations. The cabin is new, clean, & well apportioned. It provides beautiful lake views with amazing fishing right from the dock. The screened in porch was a great family gathering place. The host was kind, courteous & provided many recommendations to enhance our trip! Looking forward to our next stay at Worries End cabin!

Wedding week

This is our 2nd time staying here for our daughters weddings. We had a great week at the lake and love the screened in porch. The house is very clean and well supplied with everything you need. Great yard for outdoor games. We all loved our time at the lake!

We purchased this property in 2014 because its wonderful location close to the Twin Cities, its south facing exposure and the fact that the property is flat to the lake. We love the Balsam Lake area with its lakes, shops and restaurants. We are a very active family and there are many fun activities for all of us, while still providing a wonderful opportunity for rest and relaxation from our busy lives.
