Incredible place to stay. Has a little bit of everything - pool was clean with a hangout area right off the patio for cooking out. Massive open grassy area for games and plenty of rooms between the 3 cabins. Lots of history that is displayed inside on the walls. Friendly hosts that seemed to do everything they could to make the stay worthwhile.
We had a large group so the space was perfect. However, we needed every bed and one of the king sized beds was broken when we arrived. The owner said the previous guest had broken it "sorry". This caused difficulty with one of our families having to switch rooms. We also had difficulty with one of the bathrooms because the shower was in a tub ( literally had to sit in the tub to shower) and those folks are all 6' and above. So they had to walk downstairs to use the bathroom downstairs. The pool was wonderful. The deck is a little scary and needs a little shoring up for safety as well as the storage buildings with the life jackets and oars for the canoe. We decided they were not a good idea. Overall, we had a great time and the living spaces were wonderful for what we needed. The Pilot Knob is a special place just needs a little maintainence.

Interesting place for our family
This was a great place to gather with our kids and our grandkids. Like living in a private compound, in historic old buildings, while having modern amenities inside the cabins and they welcoming swimming pool.
