This charming and comfortable house exceeded our expectations in every way. Comfortable, with every convenience and beach gear you need, it’s steps away from a private beach, surrounded by great views and is quiet, welcoming and very relaxing. Shopping for essentials is close by, too, along with great seaside restaurants. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

Alexandra and her fslikybwere excellent guests! Communication was good and left the house in good shape! Respectful also. Recommended!
We had a very enjoyable stay near the beach in Clinton. All the bedrooms were clean and comfortable for the entire family. We didn't find the instructions for the house (on the side of the fridge) until the second day and the instructions could have been written better to highlight the important items, but the none the less were very useful. Some on the items from the listing were missing (no bikes) and some could be in better condition, but all in all, we appreciated all of the house's amenities. We would definitely recommend staying here.
This property is convenient, clean and well appointed. Right down the street is a private neighborhood beach you can walk to. About 5 minute walk away is the Clinton town beach with a playground and splash pad. And by car Hammonassett beach is only 5 minutes. The house had many amenities and we enjoyed having dinner out on the deck. We would definitely return!
This community is perfect. Friendly neighbor ( who dog sat for us). Wonderful to walk and the beach was great.. small, but I avoided it in weekends and mist times there was hardly anyone on it.
The house is clean with mostly everything you need. Did not use the dishwasher as you have to roll it to the sink and attach a hose. Since we were only two oriole with the occasional family stays, we just washed the dishes.
The stackable washer and dryer is great.
The living space is small, but we made do. Thevtv was a problem as there was no cable and the free stations were rather odd.. old tv shows. We found a couple of movies on the free stations. It would be very helpful to have written explanations if how to use the tv, what stations are available. We did not want to sign into anything with our account and so we read a lot, which is not a bad thing!
My only negative is the outside. The stairs that are used mostly in the back had old mats all around and these got muddy when it rained. The deck had only plastic chairs which after awhile sitting on them, were not comfortable.
The kitchen is big with a table that seats four and an extra chair can be put at the table if it is pulled away from the wall.
The beds were ok and there is a queen sized air mattress and a fit upstairs in the very large bedroom.
I would suggest more hangers as that is not hard to provide.
I would definitely return to this neighborhood and would rent this property again.

Thanks for the feedback. I do state thst there are streaming apps for access. Hulu, Amazon prime and 2 of the most popular. There is also cut the cord app that has over 10,000 stations, including all local stations and popular national stations like Disney, ESPN AND others. As for hangers, there were dozens there when I opened the house end of June. I guess other guests decided to take them. As for deck chairs, I had metal ones, but they rust. I replaced with heavy plastic, which hasn't been a problem for past guests. The house is 1100 sq feet and part of a beach style home. Hope this helps.
We had a great stay, the house was clean and well appointed, in a lovely neighborhood and friendly block. The short walk to beach kept us and our kids busy. I love this part of Connecticut and we will be back. Thanks Todd!
We stayed for 4 nights. It was relaxing, plenty of room, and the renter provides tons of amenities to make it an easy stay. Lovely beach, quiet neighborhood and pleasant neighbors.
Cottage was very conveniently located. Short walk to the beach and short rides to restaurants and stores in town. Made things very easy on us and our 2 young children.
Everything was well maintained and Todd did a great job keeping in touch when we needed things. Also, we were able to see some amazing sunsets over Clinton Harbor to close out some beautiful days at the beach.

Very quaint ,clean and short walk to the beach
We loved the cottage. It was very comfortable & would definitely stay again! We brought some of our own kitchen stuff since we knew we were cooking for a crowd one day (like big pots , mixing bowls & a skillet for breakfast ) other than that it is PERFECT & has everything you need for a great stay:)
