Property was beautiful. Love that it has a private beach. The only downside during our stay was all the dust from road construction. I would book here again.
This accommodation has such a nice living space. Spacious and stylish, we really enjoyed our stay. It really well appointed and we found all the kitchen gadgets and appliances we needed. Very happy we stayed here and will probably come here again.
Beautiful property! Plenty of room for three generations and a lab. Many amenities - above and beyond what is typical. Great beach access. Quiet community which is so important with a baby! Only downside was the upstairs pillows which were uncomfortable, but an easy fix if you bring your own. Highly recommend! Thanks!
Kitchen was fully equipped. The property is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you could ask for. Plenty of space and beautiful views of the lake. Looking forward to returning one day soon.
We stayed as a group of 5 including a baby and had a wonderful 5 nights!Location - excellent. We walked into town every morning for coffee and pastries, which we enjoyed back at the house on the deck, watching a family of deer wander just 10ft away. It's a great home base for exploring the valley from, with wonderful views and a quiet private beach.House - clean, well appointed, thoughtful details. We loved the coffee and tea, and appreciated how well stocked the spice cupboard was! They provided a pack and play for our little one which was very convenient, and the steam shower in the master bedroom was such a treat.Hosts - communication was easy and responses were prompt and polite. They provided a lot of great info about the valley and clearly take care in their role as a host.Overall, we would definitely stay again and would explore some of their other properties as well. Thanks!
The space was very bright and the view from the deck was truly stunning. We appreciated the clear information and the very timely responses to our questions!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was well appointed for 3 couples. Having the beach close by was great. There are active train tracks which need to be crossed to access the beach, but it was not a problem. The access code for the private beach access gate did not work and so we contacted the host for an updated code. They responded immediately, and then got back to us in about 12 hours with the correct code. The house was generally clean, however we noticed the windows need a good once over. The kitchen was well equipped, but the dishes were not a match set for 6 people. Was not a problem for us, but if you were holding a more elegant dinner you might be less impressed. The driveway is quite steep but manageable, might be a factor in icy conditions. The hot tub worked well.
My 4-month-old and I had the most wonderful stay in Invermere, BC. The house we booked was spotless, beautifully maintained, and felt spacious yet cozy—perfect for a little getaway with a baby. It was completely private and so peaceful, which made nap times easy and gave us both room to relax. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, from a well-equipped kitchen to comfortable lounging areas, and the surrounding scenery was breathtaking. Invermere itself was charming and quiet, with plenty of stroller-friendly spots for leisurely walks. It was the perfect combination of comfort, cleanliness, and natural beauty—an ideal retreat for a parent traveling with a young baby.
Our family spent five days at the Salt & Stone, over the Thanksgiving weekend. We were six adults and the spacious bedrooms, luxurious bathrooms, gourmet kitchen and cozy common area were wonderful. The home was unbelievably clean, with tasteful furnishings and decorations. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and cooking utensils, everything we needed to prepare a full thanksgiving dinner. We were impressed that this was a rental property, the little extra pluses such as a wide variety of board games available, state of the art streaming devices, comfy patio furniture and the spacious garage for parking, just to mention a few, truly made it a home away from home. We appreciated that our kids could bring their dogs, making our stay a full family affair. We hope to make the Salt & Stone our go to place for future adventures.
The place was lovely and the hosts were very helpful. Two things to note: they required an ID check in a separate app prior to the rental (it was fine, just unexpected). And the severe upwards angle of the driveway was way more than we would have expected. It is slightly better if approaching from the beach side of the driveway but may still be a risk. There was not street parking. We were unable to pull into the garage with of our family on the vehicle (they had to hop in and out at the bottom on the driveway) otherwise we would scrape. (And we have a minivan with decent clearance). But the location was amazing. The view from the hot tub was priceless, and it was a lovely clean space ideal for our family. We would definitely come again!!
