This home provides beautiful views of the Core Sound with breathtaking sunrises from the expansive from deck and picturesque sunsets from the screened in porch. There is ample space in this 3000 sqft home; with 4 large bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms, large loft area and the 3rd floor "Blue Herrings Nest" overlooking the sound. Enjoy the fantastic amenities like AC/heat, a washing machine & dryer, gas fireplace, sound system and WiFi.

The property has a private dock, great for fishing, kayaking and provides easy access for all your marine activities. The property has 4 kayaks awaiting you to explore the Sound. In close proximity to the beaches, shopping and restaurants. Only a 20-minute drive to Beaufort, 25 minutes to Morehead City and Radio Island, and 30 minutes to Atlantic Beach. Approximately 35-40 minutes to Cedar Island, where you can take the ferry across the Pamlico Sound to Ocracoke Island. One of our favorites is the Harker's Island Ferry (just an 8-mile drive from the property) over to Shackleford Banks (home to majestic wild horses) and Cape Lookout; to do some shelling!! Explore the beaches of the Crystal Coast and soak up all the Outer Banks has to offer!

We are from Maine and still have a property we love to share on the Maine coast on Westport Island. We fell in love with NC and absolutely love being on/near the water. We find many similarities in the coastal communities of both Maine and North Carolina, from the down-to-earth people, delicious seafood and great outdoor adventures.
