New for rent in May 2025 - The Lighthouse: Spacious 3 bedrooms 2 bath canal front home sleeps 11 with a beautiful sun-soaked balcony, gorgeous kitchen, and an amazing waterfront canal! The interior is tastefully decorated for that tranquil beach setting. Soak up some rays on this beautiful scenic balcony. Capture Spectacular Sunsets from the open deck. The Lighthouse is a short walk from the beach and boasts an amazing view! Drop a line right off the huge deck to get that catch of the day.
The center of the house is a large living room with plenty of space for the whole family! A dining table for 6 and a galley kitchen with additional sitting will give you plenty of utility. The hallway full bathroom has modern finishings with a glass curbless shower and a floating vanity. The master bedroom has a king bed with ensuite full bathroom. The front guest bedroom has a queen bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed. The back guest bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed, suitable for kiddos to share. The house sleeps 11 comfortably and is suitable to share between extended families and friends. Full sized washer and dryer inside the hallway bathroom for guests’ use.
Note guests do not have access to the garage, cargo lift, or boat lift. These are exclusively used by the owners and are not included in the rental.
The property is located on the waterfront. There are dropoffs by the water that is not childproof. Please read all rules prior to booking.
Our nightly price depends on the number of guests, children included. Additional guest fee applies for guest #7 and above till the maximum occupancy. Please indicate the exact number of guests at booking and the quote will reflect that. If you increase the number of guests after your reservation is made, additional guest fee may apply if the number of guests exceed 6.
We allow only house-trained pets with a $100 fee per pet per stay. Maximum four (4) pets allowed on premises. The booking platform charges $100 if you indicate pet at booking and that covers one pet only. If you have more than one pets approved by the owners, you will receive separate payment request to collect the pet fee for additional pets. Clean after your pets or additional cleaning fee will be charged.
Property has a security camera facing the driveway. No security cameras inside the house.
House is located in Terramar Beach subdivision of Galveston Island, about 17 miles west of Moody Garden, 21 miles west of the Strand.
House rules to note before booking:
(1) No party or any event is allowed. Violation will result in immediate eviction with no refund.
(2) House trained pets are allowed AFTER obtaining owner’s prior approval and pet fee paid before checking in. Pet fee is $100 per pet per stay. The booking platform charges only $100 if you indicate pet at booking and that covers one pet. If you have more than one pets approved by the owners, you will receive separate payment request to collect pet fees for additional pets.
(3) The property’s maximum occupancy is 11 people (adults and children combined). This limit applies to all visitors present on property, not limited to overnight guests. Violation will result in immediate eviction with no refund.
(4) House driveway and concrete pad beneath the house can park no more than 6 sedan-sized vehicles. If guests have larger vehicles or trailers, the number of parking spaces will be less than 6. NO on-street parking. No parking on grass. Parking violations will result in immediate eviction with no refund.
(5) No smoking inside the house. Violation will be fined by $500 and result in eviction with no refund.
(6) No loud music after 9 PM each day. Do not trespass neighbor’s property.
