About this property

One Of A KInd - Gulf front and lagoon front - water views from every room.

(Please read this entire page before messaging or booking.)

The house is perched on the natural dune line running down Indian Pass peninsula. Incredible water views from every room - many have a double view of the gulf and the lagoon.

Pier on the lagoon with 4 kayaks provided.

Private beach drive to the south side of the property. We own the 1 acre beach side of the property in addition to the 1 acre lagoon side where the house sits.

Private beach hut on the gulf side of the property with a bed, picnic table and lounge chairs.

Large estate lot - the entire property is 2 acres.

Very private beach as the only public access is over 2 miles away.

Rent a golf cart and explore all of Indian Pass. (I HAVE A GOLF CART WITH BEACH DRIVING PERMIT TO RENT, SEPARATE FROM THE HOUSE RENTAL, FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!) Driving allowed on the beach with 4 wheel drive and a permit.

5 bedrooms all with water views. A spacious home with room for a large family or 2 families.

Custom designed and built by the owner to maximize the views of the water to the south and north.

House amenities include: large kitchen fully equipped, large Jacuzzi bath tub in master, outdoor showers, fish cleaning table, open and screened porches, screened porch on back of house with seating and eating areas and smart tv, outdoor grill on screened side deck with dining area.

Outdoor activities in addition to lounging on the beach or laying in the beach bed: walk to the famous Indian Pass Raw Bar, visit St. Vincent Island at the end of the peninsula, ride the beach and the streets in a rented golf cart, horse back riding with local providers, bring bikes for beach rides or down to the boat launch at the end of the peninsula, day trips into beautiful Apalachicola, hire local fishing guides for St. Joe bay or Apalachicola bay, scallop in St. Joe bay.... the list is almost endless on Indian Pass.

There is plenty of parking under, behind and in the back yard for cars, boats and trailers.

About the host

Host profile image
My name is Kel Long - I am a lawyer in Atlanta and also live a lot of the year at 837. I designed and built the house in 2000. I have not rented the house to the public before now, but instead it was only used by family and friends. We are now traveling more and the house is not being used, thus I am renting it to the public for the first time. Because of the personal nature of the home to my family we will be selective in who we rent to and we expect and hope that: 1) that you will take care of it and treasure it as we do and 2) that you will create great family memories there as we have over the years. There is no other place like Indian Pass and I think you will agree that 837 is a unique and special home.
