Deadbolt lock on entry door…seemed loose struggled many times.Called about refrigerator on first day was told maintenance would contact me…Never got a call or message.Refrigerator finally cooled and my food didn’t go to waste.Otherwise unit was good.Second trip to Gulf Shores, already planning another trip.

Property is in a FANTASTIC location. Building is older but has good parking, nice pool, great beach access. Condo was well equipped with everything you need, bring pans if you plan on cooking. DO NOT use garbage disposal it will fill the entire condo with the most horrible smell that will last for well over a day! The balcony is amazing and right on top of the pool! Hopefully you get better neighbors than we did. They allowed all their kids to run rampant at the pool and played their music as loud as it would go until 10pm and was constantly throwing things over the balcony. All the beds are not at all comfortable so pack accordingly. I would also say the bunk beds are not ideal for teens, no room. We did notify that the smell was bad, and got no response.

I stayed here for the month of January and overall found this to be a good value. The condo was clean, and the view was excellent. Sound proofing was not great, the kitchen was lacking some necessities (like sheet pans) and the exterior hallways and elevator are not in good shape. All in all a good place to ease into retirement.

Our happy place

The beach is our happy place, we always have the best time. I loved the location- though the beach was crowded being a holiday week, we were in a less crowded area. The condo had everything we needed to get our week started! I saw a review somewhere stating there were only two bath towels - there were more under the bathroom sink!😉

Neutral on this rental.Pros: Beachside, relatively affordable, unit appears newly remodeledCons: older building (unit is nice), I had to get a bit gruff with the rental company asking for a simple garbage bagIn fairness, the properly is listed as 'no frills' - I asked the rental company for one garbage bag so I didn't need to go buy a full box and had to push them on it. It was a bit frustrating, but otherwise, decent property. With the age of the building, the walls are paper thin.

Pictures of the unit were accurate. Unit was clean. Bed comfortable. Always able to find parking in the lot. Nice location, multiple grocery stores are 10-15 minutes away. Close to Pensacola-45 minute drive. Beach is beautiful. 2 Chairs with Umbrella rentals 45 a day. Wifi was slow. There is a slight musty smell in the unit but it’s close to the ocean. Balcony is one floor above the pool. However you don’t hear much noise when doors to balcony are closed. If you want to sit outside on balcony, you have to enjoy listening to the pool activities.

I loved the view from our balcony and the private pool/access to the beach. The keyless entry on one of the gates doesn't always want to work but it wasn't a huge issue. I did not like how the entire apartment smelled heavily of mildew, the carpet in the bedroom needed to be shampooed, the area rug in the living room was dirtier than the outdoor area rug on the balcony. It just didn't feel clean enough, considering there are numerous walks of life that come in and out of the apartment continuously. The refrigerator did not work. I called the office and let them know it did not get cold, she offered to send maintenance but I declined and opted for using coolers instead. She did tell me she would have maintenance fix the issue after we left. I realize being that close to the water and having such humid air all the time probably resulted in the mildew smell and that smell is probably a common issue for people who live close to the ocean but I would suggest a dehumidifier in every unit. A dehumidifier would greatly reduce the water in the air and probably prevent the smell and prevent things from feeling damp. Also, the keyless entry for the unit is 10 digits long so I hope you have a good memory. The amount of nonrefundable money I paid for this unit for 8 nights was ridiculous and I really just expected more, especially considering I was told in the renters agreement that I have to clean up after myself and take out the trash or I would be charged.

The leasing agents were responsive in getting an ironing board cover for us. The remotes didn’t work the TV which we dealt with and didn’t complain until checkout, the code was too long for the front door and it had a musty smell, we brought plug ins though. The building could use updated - exterior maintenance. The pool was cloudy but they cleared that up pretty quick. The building has sturdy carts to help with check in and out - those were amazing. Our condo was very clean, kept us cool, and updated look on the kitchen and bath, was nice.

Had a great time with 3 Adults. Loved the location of the unit on the first floor and the condo building being right on the beach. So awesome to sit on the balcony with that view. The unit was clean and had a really nicely updated bathroom and kitchen. The rental company was very responsive and easy to work with. And had staff on hand daily taking care of the pool area and common spaces. The building is older but seemed to be taken care of well. The unit did only have the basics, 2 rolls of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, a couple of dishwasher pods and a travel size of dish liquid and hotel like soaps in the bathroom. You will need to buy extras and any spices, coffee and filters for a regular coffee pot, and the other things you need for cooking and morning coffee. This is outlined in the email they send a week prior. They provide all towels and bed linens needed. Beds and furniture were comfortable. No beach supplies or towels in the unit but they have bins in the garage with random beach stuff that other guests have left behind that anyone can use. I thought the price was a little high for what is provided but I’m not familiar with pricing in the area and I’m sure you’re paying for the view and proximity to the beach and busy season. But we did have a great time and loved the beach location. I would recommend a car as everything is close but too far to walk everywhere in the heat for us “more mature” folks. There are lots of things within in a 1-1.5 miles radius.

Disappointed

We stayed here in 2020. It was clean smelt nice and was a good bang for the buck! We decided to return to the same spot this year because we had such a nice time in 2020. NOT THIS TIME. This time we were tremendously disappointed. The bunk beds had sand in them. The floors, dirty. There was a black spot above the door in the bedroom. The furniture is so old and wore out. And to top it off the moment you open the door this awful smell hits you. We will never return to this condo.
