About this property
The Cabin at Woodside Homestead - Two Bedroom Getaway in Sullivan Close to Keene
Escape to the tranquility of The Cabin at Woodside Homestead. This cozy 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom retreat is perfect for exploring nearby Keene, hiking scenic trails, swimming at Granite Lake, skiing at Granite Gorge, or relaxing with a good book. Located on our peaceful homestead, it’s ideal for couples, small families, or anyone seeking a quiet escape. Step off the main road, leave the hustle behind, and experience life off the beaten path.
The space
Step into a warm and inviting cabin with rustic charm and modern comforts. The main living area features cozy seating, perfect for relaxing with a good book, enjoying a movie night, or diving into a fun selection of board games, card games, and books provided for your enjoyment.
The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need to prepare meals, complete with a dining area where you can gather for meals, games, or conversation.
Both bedrooms are furnished with comfortable beds and soft linens to ensure restful nights. The bathroom includes a full shower, plush towels, and basic toiletries for your convenience.
The cabin is heated by a pellet stove, adding to the cozy ambiance. A supply of wood pellets is provided for your stay, along with simple instructions for operation and refilling. It’s easy to use and keeps the space warm and comfortable, especially on chilly New Hampshire nights.
The Property & Outdoors
The cabin is on our private homestead, offering a true taste of rural New England living. Relax by the fire pit, bask in the morning light through the large picture windows, or enjoy the patio while soaking in the peaceful surroundings.
This cabin is located on a homestead, so you may encounter the sights and sounds associated with a working property, including animals, people, and vehicles (tractors, UTVs, cars, etc.). While we attempt to keep these to working hours, you may encounter homestead happenings throughout the day. The owners live on the homestead, and you will see their vehicles coming and going on the shared driveway.
Please note that due to the steep driveway and potential winter weather conditions, an all-wheel-drive (AWD) or four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicle is required for safe access to the property during winter months. While a two-wheel-drive vehicle may suffice in good weather, we cannot guarantee driveway conditions during snowy or icy periods. Refunds will not be provided for guests unable to navigate the driveway in a two-wheel-drive vehicle. Please plan accordingly to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay.
Guest access
This property is located on a gated property. A gate code will be provided prior to arrival.
The cabin can be accessed via a keypad lock for a contact-free check-in.
