Property listing was accurate: a nice, safe neighborhood near shops and restaurants and sites to visit. The cleanliness of the home was superb and our host, Christy, was extremely helpful and she was always available. We enjoyed our stay at the your property and exploring Saint Louis.
Absolutely loved this place and the neighborhood. I walked everywhere I had to go for the entirety of the stay. Great backyard for our dog!

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry the home didn’t meet your expectations.
I do want to clarify a few points for future guests. When you reached out late at night, I responded promptly (around 2 AM) and offered twice to have the cleaner return to address any concerns, which was declined both times. I also proactively refunded the cleaning fee as a courtesy.
The home is accurately described in the listing, including its square footage, historic nature, and the presence of steeper stairs, which are common in homes of this age. The photos are professionally taken and are not altered, and are intended to represent the space as it is.
I always aim to be responsive and fair, and I encourage guests to reach out during their stay so I can quickly make things right whenever possible.
This house is a great location, the proximity to the park especially. We also enjoyed walking to the local market, deli, and coffee shop which were very close to the house. The host was very communicative and helpful. We were able to check in early the first day so we could work from there and when AT&T had an outage a few days later, she sent a technician out in record time to repair the internet connection. We had our dog with us and this property is very dog friendly. I would agree with an earlier review that the stairs to the second level are very narrow and steep and would be a challenge for someone with mobility issues, but the first level is very easy to navigate and the front only has a few steps up to the front door.

Thank you so much for your kind review. If you’re ever back in the area we’d love to host you again.
The location of this rental is great, near the park and the restaurants on Morgan Ford. Inside is well furnished and accurate to the photos. The space inside is layed out a bit strange, with a small living room and add ons at the back of the house. Both the upstairs and downstairs bedrooms did not have any way to block out the early morning light through the windows or sunroom, making sleeping in difficult. Upon arriving we found that the second floor is accessible by some steep stairs, and one of the handrails had been pulled out of the wall. The owner was quick to respond, and a repairman was able to come out.
We stayed at this property for a few days while having work done on our home. I chose this home primarily for the location as it is halfway between my home and office. It was clean and bright with nice amenities included. A separate office room made WFH very easy. I especially appreciated the pet-friendly atmosphere. The house is on a quiet residential street with close proximity to all the nice things city living has to offer, for both people and pets. The only drawbacks I would mention are the stairs to the second floor and the shower. The stairs are quite steep and narrow which may be difficult for those with mobility issued to navigate. The shower does not have a curtain on it like the photos indicate. Instead, there is a half partition with no door. This causes water to leak onto the floor in large amounts and may pose a safety hazard.Other than those two things this is very nice property, and we enjoyed our stay.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review and kind words about the home—we’re so glad you enjoyed the pet-friendly atmosphere, peaceful neighborhood, and that the space worked well for both relaxing and working remotely!
We also appreciate your feedback about the stairs and the shower. Since your stay, we’ve added a water barrier to the shower partition to help keep the floor dry and safe, and we’ve updated the listing description to call out the steep staircase so future guests can plan accordingly.
Thank you again for staying with us, and we’d love to host you (and your pup!) again anytime.
