absolutely breathtaking. We were in the area to visit the Great Smokies, and after each day of hiking, we could come back to this spot and feel like we were still in the middle of nowhere. The pictures are for real. The panoramic view is spectacular. The location is pretty private. We had one car come to the end of the road during the whole week - we assume they were lost. (The hot tub area is visible from the end of the road, FYI, but we just used the cover as a privacy barrier, standing it upright so we could relax and enjoy the view.)As others have mentioned, the "little extras" are somewhat lacking (bring your own laundry soap as no complimentary laundry pods are included, and if you plan to use the dishwasher with any frequency for a long stay, bring a few dishwasher pods as well). The road is steep and narrow, but we found our way just fine, even arriving for the first time after dark.

Pros: The views from the wrap around porch, dining room and hot tub were amazing!!! The beds were also very comfortable, including the kid's beds in the nooks which my kids loved!! The kitchen was stocked okay enough to get by. We cooked several meals in the kitchen and the only thing we wished we had was a large mixing bowl. The property felt like you were the only house at a top of a mountain which was nice for privacy. Cons: There were a couple spaces around the windows where bugs could get in so we have plenty of stink bugs, a couple spiders and a couple wasps that were inside. During the day, there was a lot of wasp activity on the left side of the house. We just avoided that area during the daytime as there weren't many on the other side of the house. The management company was notified about this and stated they would spray for wasps. There weren't instructions for how to start the gas fireplace as they stated. We could not figure it out, so we didn't use the fireplace but it was still pretty to look at. The road up to the cabin is a one lane road with a fair amount of pot holes. The cabin is the last one at the top of the hill-hence the amazing views. This was no issue for our SUV but could be for a low riding car. We never encountered someone coming the other way at the same time, but that could have been a slight issue.Overall: We enjoyed our stay and would come back for the amazing views!!
