We had a fabulous stay in a great location. We loved the house. It was clean with lovely touches and nicely decorated . It is secluded, surrounded by nature, but a close drive to the hikes we came to explore. The hot tube was nice at night and the fire pit. The area has lots of deer although we didn’t see any at the house itself. I would definitely stay again. The beds were comfortable. I would not recommend driving up in a lower car- we drove an SUV . The host was highly responsive- beautiful home.

We celebrated my 50th birthday at the Forest Retreat Cabin and it was the absolute perfect place and setting! The cabin is even more beautiful in person and the outdoor space was just as beautiful as the inside. We were lucky to have a warm weekend in March and made good use of the hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor dining area. Communication was excellent and they even mailed back my Kindle that I left there. Highly recommend- 10/10!! We will be back!

Our family of 5 had a great stay! The home was beautiful (as pictured)! We were very comfortable there and loved the spacious living area. Lots of thoughtful touches included in the kitchen which was great. The outdoor area was also great—the convenient hot tub for those who hiked all day as well as a solo fire pit area. We enjoyed being 20 minutes from large grocery and 30 minutes from great hiking. Mo was easy to communicate with. Would stay here again. FYI-the final 5 minutes to get to the home are on a rough road (5-10 mph).

House was clean and super cute. Had a lot of appliances and the coffee and tea bar was a hit with my friend. Host was great about responding and very kind. Was back enough in the woods to feel isolated but there were some neighbors and the city was only about 20 min away. The road up to the house is a little steep and pretty rough so you definitely want a car that can handle it.

This place is home away from home! It was so quiet and serene in the mountains. You have neighbors but at a distance. If you want peace and quiet retreat, this is definitely the place to reserve.Mo, the host, was wonderful in getting in touch about all details for check-in, hot tub instructions, and of course the ordeal of checking in. She went above and beyond to also add things to do in the area.I will say, since the property is quite a distance from town, I would recommend you do All shopping Before you get there. Once you are there, it is hard to leave, just because of the beauty of the area. Spacious and ever so clean 3 bedrooms, oversize living room where you are not on top of one another. Took a Girl Friends trip and we all had space to move around. The coffee bar was Amazing...Keurig, Nespresso, Water Kettle and a standard Coffee Pot was all accessible along with full kitchen set of dishes and knives/utensils. The camp fire set is something that is there with a Solo Stove...we brought wood, but didn't get the chance to use it.The only downfall with traveling there, was the roads were quite bumpy. WOULD NOT recommend a low seated car, You will need a Truck/AWD vehicle.Look forward to returning again, if and when able! Beautiful decor with Lots of blankets and pillows...Comfy beds too!!! Love the 2 and half baths.
