About this property
Amazing VIEWS, Spacious, Farmstead Living, Hosts with Aloha
Always In Season Farmstead Suite sits in a park-like setting with majestic views. This Eco-friendly upcountry property will take your breath away. Spacious, Country Living, Hosts with Aloha.
We are upcountry, so the climate is delightful. There is so much privacy that it feels like you are on thousands of acres.
Executive Suite for the price of a studio. Enjoy the spirit of Aloha in this private setting with a fruit orchard and gorgeous ornamental and edible gardens accompanied by a magnificent view of the ocean and the nearby Island of Maui.
The property is located eight minutes from Hawi Town, a quaint artist village offering many Eco-activities, great hiking, restaurants, and live entertainment. We are close to excellent snorkeling, swimming, and the best beaches and hiking.
There are only two units on the property. Therefore, you have privacy and quiet. The Zen Pond adds a centerpiece to the diverse landscape. Enjoy a majestic view from your bedroom, lush gardens, and rolling hills down to the sea. At night, enjoy the heavenly skies.
Accommodations include an oversized bedroom, a king bed, and a lovely private bathroom. We converted our double garage into a spacious, equipped kitchenette and living and dining area. Here you will find a library of various books and games. The spacious, 500 sq feet furnished area offers a beautiful garden view when the doors are open. The laundry room for the property is in this area. There is also a delightful courtyard and BBQ area where you can dine outside.
During your stay, you are also invited to harvest whatever you can eat from our orchards and gardens.
We live on the property, but you will have complete privacy and access to us if you need anything. We have one rule at Always In Season; if you need anything, just ask.
At Always in Season, our home is powered by the sun. Forest, pastures, and ranch land surround us, with a few other county homes in sight. We compost, recycle and are avid gardeners.
We are your hosts, Donna and Kevin, and we have years of experience on the Island. We enjoy sharing the special places we have discovered here and assisting you in any way we can to help you have a memorable vacation on the magnificent Big Island. We can arrange for a message in your room and guide you to other health practitioners.
Kevin and I have been professional chefs and bakers since 1982. We know how to prepare delightful meals to your specifications and love to teach others what we have learned. We also offer Culinary Classes with a Farm-to-Table Meal and Culinary Healing Arts Retreats. Here are the options we can provide during your stay.
Option: A magnificent place for an intimate wedding or small celebration with a catered meal. Call us for details.
Option: We also offer holistic culinary classes and farm-to-table meals. Harvest from the fruit orchard and edible gardens, indulge in the Island's flavors, and relish in the Aloha spirit in this majestic scenic setting.

About the host
Hosted by Donna Maltz

Aloha, from Donna and Kevin. We are your friendly hosts at Always In Season Farmstead. We have been coming to the Island since 1984 and are now full-time residents in this gorgeous farmstead location.
Always In Season Farmstead has enabled us to combine our love for food, people, and the planet into one. A fantastic place to rest, relax, rejuvenate, and retreat.
We ran the Fresh Sourdough Express Bakery & Café in Homer, Alaska, for 37 years, and for 12 of those years, we ran A Memorable Experience,” another eco-friendly bed-and-breakfast and full-service destination wedding location. We performed and catered over 100 weddings and accommodated people worldwide.
I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I got trained in over one hundred dietary theories and studied various practical lifestyle coaching methods. Drawing on my experience and knowledge, I now enjoy teaching culinary classes, hosting wellness retreats, and coaching entrepreneurs and individuals who choose to make a change. I am also the author and speaker, and my husband and I are professional chefs and bakeries.
We welcome you to come and enjoy a soil to soul experience where we live like the future matter.
We look forward to meeting you and sharing the magic this place offers.
