Thanks for hosting us for a family fishing trip! Check in was smooth, the kitchen was well stocked, and we were close to the beach AND the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center.

This is the perfect spot for a beach vacation! There was plenty of room for our family of 4. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs, but there are plenty of restaurants within driving distance. The best part - it’s directly across the street from the beach access!

The cottage was as promised. We enjoyed two days in this perfect location, within a short walk to the beach and in close proximity to Oregon Inlet fishing center (about five minutes south). Easy check-in, good communication, and well-appointed home.

The strandhaus was absolutely perfect for our family. The beach is just a short walk away, and this part of South Nags Head is relaxed and quiet. We loved the games, books and maps in the house, clearly chosen with care to create a special sense of place for families and small groups on a getaway. We would definitely stay here again, and we would highly recommend this home to family and friends.

Awesome place. I loved the style and vibe, based on all the music, books, games and art I feel like the owners and I are on the same page about a lot of things. Passably sharp knives which is almost unheard of at a beach cottage rental. Will probably book it again.

Peaceful getaway

We loved our stay! Terrific location by the beach. The kids loved playing the many games in the house. Adults enjoyed relaxing on the front and back decks. A wonderful place to relax and explore OBX.
