Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please leave home as you found it free of personal and disposable items. Kindly tidy up all areas you used. We’ll take care of the rest. Before leaving lower the blinds.
Place all towels and linens in laundry room before you leave. Thank you for staying with us!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Shoes off at the door please! Please do not use the decorative towels. Lawn care takes place Saturday or Sunday mornings. Noise is minimal.
If you use the grill please clean the grill! NO! smoking in or near the house! Away from the property please dispose of cigarette butts properly.
No Parties and or Events! This home is for relaxation only. No pets on furniture! Rule violation will result in immediate removal and loss of payment.

We were looking for a nice cozy location to celebrate Thanksgiving with the family. This place was perfect! It is very spacious, has great decor, the owners were easy to get a hold of. Overall, it was a great location for a rustic getaway. The house is very modern with lots of technology and amenities.

Poor instructions on use. Charging 2 dollars per “ log” of firewood. Pool table room cold .. must use fireplace to sufficiently heat. Camera outside apparently monitoring firewood use.

Thank you for your feedback. All house rules, amenities, and instructions including heating, firewood use, and security cameras are clearly and transparently disclosed on our VRBO listing prior to booking. The firewood policy is explicitly stated as an honor system at $2 per log, which guests agree to when reserving the property. The fireplace-assisted heating in the game room is also disclosed in the listing, and the home was functioning exactly as described. The exterior security cameras are plainly noted and are used solely for property security and enforcement of house rules, not guest monitoring. While the overall stay was acceptable, the property was not left in acceptable condition. This included carpet stains, dog food or treats left on the floors, and most concerning a smoldering piece of firewood left unattended inside the home, which poses a serious fire hazard. For these reasons, while we strive to provide a high-quality and transparent experience for all guests, we would not host this guest again. We encourage future guests to carefully review all listing details and house rules prior to booking to ensure the property is a good fit for their expectations.
