Thank you again for staying with us. I agree that while there are no rapids at the property and children can enjoy the water near the shoreline, the Rogue River can be swift in places. Children should always wear life jackets, and anyone who is not a strong swimmer should remain close to shore. We enjoy floating the river or placing chairs in the shallow water near the shore. We’re sorry the beds felt firmer than expected. They are memory-foam mattresses, and we’ve learned that in colder winter temperatures they can feel stiffer at first. To address this, we purchased brand-new 4-inch pillow-top mattress toppers for every bed. Unfortunately, they were still packaged in the laundry room cabinet and our cleaning team missed installing them before your arrival. That’s on us, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We’ve since corrected this so future guests will have a much softer sleep experience. We truly appreciate your feedback and would love the opportunity to host you again.
