We just had a marvelous week here in Meredith. The house could not have a better location, both for views and lake access. We rented kayaks for the week (a single person kayak and paddle board is on site) and used them multiple times a day to explore the immediate vicinity. There are beautiful islands a mere 20 minutes from the home and we explored the inlets around them every day. Swimming is equally easy as the lake area is relatively shallow. The house itself is well appointed, well air conditioned (if it's muggy outside), and and overall pleasure to be in. Shopping is all of 10 minutes away in Meredith and Center Harbor. Would definitely return. 10 out of 10!
