About this property
Cozy 3-Bedroom Home, Great Location in Downtown Huntingdon
This recently renovated half-duplex boasts a charming combination of modern conveniences with a restored 100+ year-old home in a location that provides easy access to downtown shops and eateries, Raystown Lake, Juniata College, Penn State and other area attractions.
Welcome Home!
Comfortably sleep six in the three upstairs bedrooms with two full and two twin beds (including 1 trundle bed). Each bedroom has blackout curtains to reduce disruptions to your slumber. When you are not out taking advantage of nearby university events or outdoor adventures, stay in and relax with full access to the home, WiFi, a smart TV and provided books, games and puzzles. A fully-equipped kitchen, Keurig-style coffee machine, single-serve coffee pods, tea, hot chocolate, washer and dryer round out the needs of your stay. During warmer months, you will stay cool with a window air conditioner unit and ceiling fan in each bedroom and a mini split and ceiling fan on the first floor. You have keyless entry to the home and off-street parking is available in the rear.
Close to it all!
The home is located on the main street through downtown, walkable to the heart of historic downtown Huntingdon and a variety of restaurants, shops and activities, including coffee shops, a brewery, bakeries, antique shops and an old-school movie theater. It is a short trip to grocery stores and Juniata College (1 mile), and an easy drive to Raystown Lake (20 minutes) and Penn State (45 minutes). Located on the borough’s traditional parade route means you are just steps away from a front-row seat. For train enthusiasts, the home is near train tracks, enabling you to watch comfortably from the back porch.

About the host
Hosted by Natalie & Chuck
When our oldest daughter started at Penn State, we ambitiously decided to buy a house, renovate it and create a short-term rental opportunity in the area. We chose to purchase in Huntingdon because we loved everything it had to offer! After two+ years of renovating the house, many weekends away from our Maryland home, more than a few challenges and a lot of effort, we are excited to share this cozy home with others.
