House Rules & Pet Policy:
​We love furry friends! Pets are welcome for a $150 non-refundable pet fee. Please ensure you select "bringing a pet" at checkout, or we can easily process the fee via an additional payment request post-booking. We also have pet bags for easy clean ups available.

​Occupancy & Safety:
To maintain the peace, occupancy is strictly limited to a maximum of 6 guests unless prior permission is granted. No parties or events are permitted.

​Security:
For your safety and the security of the property, exterior security cameras are present. There are absolutely no cameras inside the home.

The property was as described. We did bring our dog and were appreciative of the fenced in yard. The place was clean and did not smell like animals have stayed there. Host was attentive to issues (microwave broke and it was promptly replaced). Great stay!

The property is truly stunning—beautiful, peaceful, and nestled in a quiet country setting that instantly makes you feel relaxed. The inside of the home is just as gorgeous as the outside, with every detail thoughtfully done.One of the highlights for us was the fenced yard, which Baby Faith absolutely loved. It gave us peace of mind while she enjoyed the space, and she had the best time.I honestly can’t say enough amazing things about this property. If you’re looking for a serene, beautiful getaway that feels like a home away from home, this is it. We will definitely be back!

Check in was easy. Backyard is great and the neighborhood is very quiet. I did love the monitor that was available for me to use with my laptop. Loved it enough that I purchased one for myself.There are some things that could be improved though. The furniture is not great for taller people and was uncomfortable. Additionally, the bed in the master bedroom feels like you are sleeping on the floor because it is so low. There is a need for additional cooking utensils and bakeware and the magic screen on the front door almost got me a couple times as I was trying to come inside. Consider a storm door or just a screen door. There is a big issue in that the tub in the main bedroom quickly fills up when you are showering and you find yourself standing in a tub of water. It takes forever to drain as well. Yes, there is another shower but that one does not have great water pressure. Other issues - some darker curtains would be useful, especially since the front porch light is on all night. Lastly, I tried to keep dehumidifier running but it would fill up multiple times a day (one day I emptied it a minimum of three times). Having grown up on the coast, I know that the location cannot be the issue that requires the use of a dehumidifier. One can only assume that there is an issue in the home with water that necessitates the dehumidifier in order to prevent a potential mold issue. There are positives to the home but it needs some help to make it truly a great rental.

Thank you for your stay — and we’re glad the check-in, quiet location, backyard, and especially the monitor were highlights. To clear up the biggest implication directly: there is absolutely no mold or any moisture-related issue in this home. The property sits beneath a dozen massive oak trees in a dense coastal environment surrounded by bayou and gulf water, which means humidity is a fact of nature — not a flaw in the house. The dehumidifier is there strictly as a preventative measure because of that natural climate, not because of a problem inside. Regarding the tub: as soon as this was mentioned, we had the pipe professionally snaked, and it is now draining perfectly. It seems a previous guest allowed a hair ribbon to go down the drain, which was causing slow drainage. We appreciate the positives you noted — and for future guests reading this, the home is exactly as described: clean, dry, maintained, and inspected regularly. We’re proud of it, and most importantly, so are the overwhelming majority of our guests.
