About this property

Welcome to Trailhead. It’s time to plan a trip to the pines. Adventure awaits!

Trailhead is just minutes from downtown Flagstaff and Northern Arizona University. Our easy to find home is about 3 miles from the I-17, conveniently nestled between the I-40 and historic route 66, making trips to Snow Bowl, The Grand Canyon, or Sedona quick and easy.

We decided to name our vacation home “Trailhead”, because some of our best adventures were marked by a trailhead of some kind. As adventure enthusiasts, we hope that you consider beginning your next journey at Trailhead. And what a fantastic place to start! Fresh air. Blue skies. Pine trees. Any journey that starts here is one that starts off on the right foot.

Trailhead is a brand new (completed in December of 2017), one story, single family, detached home. The quaint, craftsman style neighborhood is built on a hill and our home stands midway, offering views of ponderosa pines. One of our favorites is the view from the kitchen. Although there are no stairs in the home, there are a few in the garage and at the front door. Trailhead has a spacious great room floorplan with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed with enough room to inflate a cot style twin mattress (also provided), the second bedroom has king bed, and the third room has a queen bed. Trailhead is a clean, cozy relaxing retreat with plenty of extras.

• King bed (copper spring hybrid)
• King bed (copper spring hybrid)
• Queen bed (spring, pillow top)
• Twin air mattress (on cot)
• Wifi
• Television, Direct TV
• Bluray/DVD player
• Gas Grill (hooked to natural gas)
• Natural Gas Fireplace
• Tile floors, carpeted bedrooms
• Neighborhood playground
• Well-equipped kitchen
• Two Car Garage
• Board Games, Books, and DVDs

Trailhead is perfect if you’re visiting the Grand Canyon, local breweries, or a student at NAU. You’ll be able to get your day off to a good start by preparing breakfast in our fully equipped kitchen and enjoying a cup of coffee on our large and inviting patio or you can take advantage of our exceptional location and discover the best places to eat in downtown. Either way, you win. Adventure awaits.

Must stay
Trailhead has been the most comfortable home I’ve ever stayed in away from home. Maureen and Randy have thought of everything. There’s a notebook of everything you don’t even know you need. The house was super clean and very cozy. The beds, let’s just say I slept better in that bed than I do at my own house. If I am ever in Flagstaff again and this home is available I will be right here! Trust when I say you won’t regret staying here.

Finest in Flagstaff!
Our family of five stayed in this lovely home as a base for exploring the Grand Canyon and Sedona. We could not have asked for a more comfortable stay! The hosts have thought of everything… From a well stocked pantry to bathroom essentials to charging cables… it’s also extremely conveniently located to all the sights and hikes in northern Arizona. We will definitely be back and be telling our family and friends who plan to visit the area to stay in this home!

We currently reside in Mesa, AZ, but Flagstaff has become our home away from home. For many years we hoped and dreamed of being able to have a place in Flagstaff that we could call our own. We feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to share our home with you.

Why they chose this property

This home is close to everything! Personally, we wanted to be close to excellent hiking trails as well as the hustle and bustle of downtown. Trailhead checks both of those boxes.
