Ruth was excellent in helping us with our stay. We were in town for a wedding and had easy access to the venue. She helped us recover lost items and gave great recommendations in Galax! Definitely recommend staying here!

Our host Ruth was great, we even were able to meet her in person when we had come back from being in town. The house had everything we needed for our stay, the beds were very comfortable and the house had a very cozy atmosphere. We will definitely be returning again.

Very clean property! Plenty of communal space for the littles to play and the rooms were a good size for a pack and play or blow up toddler bed. The kitchen had all the tools and gadgets we needed to make a small family breakfast and the fridge was large enough to keep our birthday party food cold until it was time to take them out. Very good experience, would absolutely book this property again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, comfortable and furnished. We prepared all our meals at the house and found the kitchen to be well stocked with everything we needed. The livingroom and bedrooms were very comfortable. Our host was very easy to communicate with and made the check in and checkout processes very easy. We highly recommend this house and will stay again.

This was a wonderful rental. Great location, comfortable, great amenities and everything had been thought of from the host. Really liked the setup of the picnic shelter area and the provided grill with propane. Will definitely rent again.

This was our second time staying here, everything was so easy and clean the first time we decided this was the perfect place to stay on our second visit and it did not disappoint. The location was easy to get to, the house was clean and the communication was perfect. We really liked how spacious it was for our family, the three bedrooms, two bathrooms and large kitchen with everything needed in a vacation rental and were the perfect size for our family of 4, we will certainly be staying there again on our next visit. Getting to and parking at the house was a breeze as it's location near the town of Galax and large parking area was perfect for us.

The "Farmhouse" was great! The house and the property were very clean and it was a pleasure to stay there. Everything was as expected and described in the listing. We would will stay there again when we return and we recommend it to others as well.

This is an older home, but was very clean. Living room large with lots of seating. The kids enjoyed the toys that were available to play with. Very cute corn hole game available to use as well. Host very accommodating.

We have a catering business and had an event @ Deer Creek Motorcoach Resort down the road and this farmhouse was perfect. It was very cozy, felt "homey". Mrs Ruth, the host, was very nice and responded very quickly to any questions or concerns we had. We would definitely stay again.

I have lived in Galax about 14 years and find the city has a small town feel that gives you the safe, friendly atmosphere that you might want to come back again.

Why they chose this property

The Apple Cream Farmhouse is set as a country clean farmhouse feel. Ready to make any new visitor feel like they are returning home. The house is just a mile or so from restaurants, theater and grocery store. But, the house is ready to cook a meal or bake some chocolate chip cookies and play some cards.

What makes this property unique

The Apple Cream Farmhouse is an outside birthday party waiting to happen. The fire pit beckons marshmallows and relaxing by a campfire till late. But, inside can make you feel right at home as well with the big tv and oversized recliner. Or setting up the dining room table to play card till late at night together as a family and friends.
