Love the location of this house! Once we got to town, we never had to get back in the car! It was a fantastic weekend and looking forward to returning with our friends and furry loved one! Communication with host was perfect! Thank you again for providing such a nice space for us to hang in Blacksburg and cheer on the Hokies!

This property is in a super convenient location in the downtown area. While it is an older house, it has plenty of space for a party of 6 - only downside is that there is only one full bathroom so that can get tricky but totally understand based on the age and size of the home. The fenced in yard was nice for the dog who absolutely loved the ducks in the next door neighbor’s yard. The kiddos loved the tire swing in the back as well. Overall, good spot to be for game weekend.

Dog friendly, fenced yard. Nature lovers paradise. Darling property a stone’s throw from downtown Blacksburg and VT. No a/c meant windows open and the neighborhood noise was significant. Made it a bit hard to sleep. No TV. Parrots/fish on property / parrots are also loud. Owner warned us and offered to take them but I wasn’t clear about the situation, so I didn’t ask them to take them. My fault. 3 bedroom with interesting decor.

We traveled into town to cheer on our hometown team against the Hokies, and this property was the ideal home base. The 100-year-old craftsman bungalow is full of charm and character, offering a cozy and comfortable setup for our entire family. The outdoor spaces were a standout highlight—we loved spending time out on the front porch by the pond, as well as enjoying the back patio and tire swing.The location couldn't be better. It is steps away from all the dining and energy on Main Street, and Lane Stadium is an easy, pleasant walk of a little over a mile through town and campus. Check-in was completely seamless despite our late arrival, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Everything matched the listing photos and description to a T. We would happily stay here again!
