Thus place is very central to some fantastic sites in the southwest. The cabin was open concept and felt huge and stocked well. The property manager was super responsive! Lots of acres to roam around in as well.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway!

We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin. The location is great, in a very scenic part of southwestern Colorado. The cabin had everything we needed. We loved the property, surrounded by trees and felt like we were tucked away from the world. We were able to let our dog run and explore without leaving the property lines. We didn't realize that there was another rental property just yards from our cabin until we arrived. However, it was very quiet and the neighbors were able to have their own space and we hardly even crossed paths. (They were great neighbors.) We appreciated the ability to bring our dog and the extra considerations within the cabin, acknowledging that our dog is part of the family. :) Great place to stay and we will certainly consider staying again in the future!

Couldn’t have asked for more

So many VRBO listings go to great lengths to photograph the property to maximize its appeal-rather like those shots of RV’s or boats which make the accommodation look so much more spacious and appealing. This often leads to disappointment. Not so, this property. Airy, spacious, studio-type modern cabin set in acres of Ponderosa forest. Quiet, serene. Comfortable Tempurpedic style bed. Good washer/dryer. Good kitchen, gas range. Ample counter space. Caveats: needs steak knives, a cooking knife set, a colander, a salad spinner (these may not be an issue unless like us, you like to cook your own meals). Could use better bedside lamp. Needs more lamps. We’d like to return and stay longer. Ideal location to access Mesa Verde and Canyon of the Ancients national park/monuments, and so much more.

Mancos Stay

The property was as advertised, except there are no views of the San Juan Mountains, as implied by the photos. This was not an issue as views of multiple mountain ranges are a 10 minute drive from the property. An excellent location for visiting Mesa Verde National Park.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this wonderful cabin in the ponderosa pine woods of west Colorado. Very clean, convenient and quiet. We enjoyed walking the trails that have been established on the property and really appreciated the privacy and the setting. Cynthia was great to deal with on check in and very accurately described what we very enthusiastically call a top rate vacation stay!

We stayed at this secluded, beautiful property for a long weekend and were able to bring our two pups along. This property has so much land, our dogs were in their glory being able to run around and play in the snow. The cabin itself had all of the basic necessities that you would need for your stay. The cute little town of Mancos is about ten minutes down the main road, which is the perfect balance of being close enough to town, but you feel far enough away at the cabin that it’s peaceful. Communication with the property manager was great and she always responded back fast. Overall, the property manager was super kind and helpful. This property was the perfect winter wonderland weekend getaway. We are wanting to come back to this area, to this same property, in the summer as well. I highly recommend this property!!

Such a lovely stay

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here, and absolutely loved it. It was so quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. The wooded area on the property was great for exploring, and the cabin was quaint and had all the amenities needed. 5 stars all around. Would stay again.
