Welcome to your serene sanctuary in the pines! This newly built, contemporary home is the perfect place to kick back and relax. Set on 1.5 acres of towering pines, the space is the ideal place to unwind in style.

What you’ll love:

A king bedroom with luxury linens for restful nights, a work space, closet and lots of room

Queen sleeper sofa and rollaway bed and TV in the Family Room

The space:

A beautiful, 1.5 acres in the tall pines. It's awesome and peaceful. Enjoy the peace and quiet, the breeze through the trees, the smell of the pines.... relax. Take a walk and enjoy. You are only minutes away from things you might need, but it's like you're in another world!

This is the Guesthouse, where our daughter Addye, who has Down Syndrome, hopes to live in the future. For now, she's sharing her home. She was involved in building the place and loves Addye's Hangout.

Sometimes we will be on the property in the main house, so please park in the places marked Guest Parking.

Enjoy the area, lots of close hiking, mountain biking, fishing, lake activities, and all those great outdoor activities in the cool pines!

If you need anything, please contact the property manager Travis, contact info will be provided at checkin.

Guest access:

The Guesthouse is on the back of the detached garage, the entrance facing Pine Needle Drive. Park where you see the Guest Parking signs. Park by the Guesthouse or in front of the garage and leave the front of the main house clear. Additional parking is available at the bottom of the property (down Spur). The garage is not available for guest usage.

Feel free to roam around the property, take a walk down the country road or in the woods. Watch for wildlife and enjoy the cool breeze.

There is a Video Doorbell on the entrance door.

Other things to note:

Pets are only allowed for special situations. Only small pets under 20 pounds, and/or service animals are allowed. There will be a $70 pet fee.

Special: on-site laundry for stays 7 days or longer. Access code will be provided.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Sometimes the door needs to be pulled tight towards you for the electric deadbolt to lock. Please put the wooden bar back in the sliding door in the bedroom. Thanks for staying

Really enjoyed our stay at the hideout! Ken (host) & Travis (property ma) were great with responding and keeping in touch. Cute, tidy, quiet place to stay. We would stay again. Only a couple suggestions to find a shade or car shade for front door hard to watch TV sun comes through door. Cookie sheets, oven mitts would be a plus. Also a broom and dust pan would also be very . I'd recommend a stay at the hideout.

Addye’s Hang Out was a great. I was up for work this time, so it was only me but I want to get my wife up there soon - we will definitely be staying at Addye’s! This will be my got to place in the White Mountains for work and play.

My partner and I stayed here with our small dog. The layout is very nice. There is plenty of open space for the living room/kitchen area. There are two switches for the space area, and the lights are very bright, so I recommend using the lamp next to the TV for a soft, yellow lighting. The bedroom is very large with a king-size bed and study desk. The sliding door in the bedroom leads right to the small patio with two adjustable lounge chairs. The bathroom has a space heater which is very nice since the air was a little cold. It is nice for a short stay since there is no washer/dryer. There is also no guest access to the garage nor access to the upper-level area with the chair and study table. It was quite disheartening.

Great stay! Very clean and comfortable space with everything we needed. Location is beautiful with patch of pines surrounding the home made for a quite forest feel but still very close to everything you need in town.

I would HIGHLY recommend staying at this property and would stay here again. The entire place is very new, extremely clean & spacious and provides much more space than staying in a hotel and surrounding area is quiet. We enjoyed the small patio off of the bedroom to enjoy our morning coffee (they have a machine that does both regular drip coffee as well as Keurig cups) with endless views of trees with no properties in site. I had to work remote a few days while we were here and the WiFi worked great and had no issues connecting with my work VPN. We discovered the hair dryer was missing (likely taken by a previous guest) and contacted the property manager who was quick to respond and he brought us a new one later that afternoon which was appreciated.Some additional notes regarding our stay that might help: our cell phone provider is T-Mobile and while I thought we might have an issue with a signal at this property it turns out we couldn't get a signal anywhere in Show Low or Pinetop/Lakeside so something was up with T-Mobiles service as we didn't have any issues getting a signal in smaller towns during a day trip to Winslow and have never had issues up in Show Low before. We did turn on our WiFi calling on our phones so at least we had a signal while at this property using their WiFi. Check out time is a bit earlier than most at 10am.
